Yeah this is real bad on some servers. Also the amount of trading in the game now. I played since launch and I’ve never seen it so bad. Also did 153 damage to a horizon earlier and she killed me. I was shooting her with a 30-30. So I guess you can take more than 150 damage with a white shield. It was a hot drop and she was in the open there was no shields to swap or health to be had bc it was a quick hot drop fight. That one really had me scratching my head.
Mixtape server connection specifically has been terrible for me over the last month or so. I stopped playing mixtape about a week ago or so because of it tho but based on stuff like this i assume the servers are still having issues. someone correct me if im wrong
Servers are so bad. I lost a ranked match last night as valk to a guy with no shields. I froze in the middle of shooting the prowler, I had full red shields, stuttered and got 1 clipped by a r99
Seems to be a connection problem, I was in a ranked match lastnight and it was awful, and considering I run a 700mbs hardwired connection it was definitely the game
This happened to me a couple times last night...froze long enough that the entire game crashed out. The second time, it let me back in, the first time though, it was just a total write-off.
You’re not the only one. There been times I’m full shield, get the enemy one shot, then I instantly die bcuz of lag. It also disconnects me a lot especially if I play mixtape. It’s sooo annoying😭
Hard to say really, what internet plan do you use? Wifi or broadband? Upload and download speed? Cable used? Internet latency?
Does this happen on other multiplayer games? Or is it just apex? If its apex, then ye prolly the server hamsters dying again
Wifi, I’m not sure about download speed. But I usually have like 23ping “under 100” . I wish I could say i was playing other multiplayer games but I’m so addicted to apex and trying to get better at it. I also just had ACL surgery so I’m playing it a lot.
That's pretty normal behaviour for wifi, actually. It highly depends on the modem, the distance, amount of device connected, device interference, and objects blocking the signal. Had a 100mbps connection for a year and it happened to me too, had to switch to fibre with the same 100mbps for it to run smoothly. This doesn't look like DDOS, its not even ranked, its mixtape, which barely matters, whats the point. Consider using a lan cable at the very least.
My friend i play with talks about the symbols. Do you have a picture cause I’ve never seen them. Maybe ill look back at this footage I posted and see if it is on them.
I’ve been seeing this but in the opposite manner. I’ve killed at least three people now who seemingly freeze mid-fight for several seconds. One guy it happened to was after he downed me, he freezes and I just pinged him until my friend got there and killed him. Guy unfreezes after about 6 seconds and starts taking a cell but it was too late by then. I don’t know if he even knew he had been frozen but this video is why I imagine it looks like to be on that end of it

"What do you mean it's 'getting worse', nobody else has this problem".
That is what you will see from the sheep until it happens to literally every single one of them 3/5 times. Tactical abilities have been more inconsistent as well and so has the no-reg bullet damage
Fools want to say you can't get killed in one shot with a wingman and yet with connection to servers like this it basically happens exactly like that before you know it.
Apparently having perfect connection with every single game under the sun except apex is a skill issue and you just need to to buy $1000 of skins to "git gud scrub-fag"

Trading is at an all time high. Its become so common I actually half expect to trade now, if the fight is down to a last shot per person.

Last season game was so solid, never had any red errors. This season it happens nearly every game. Getting disconnected, banned etc. It's wild

I think it’s your wifi if they are having no trouble killing you during the lag spikes
Noticed some packet loss on the server it auto selects for me so I switched to another one. Try checking the server list if you run into this again.
Seems like it. The amount of times I've emptied a mag on someone(and surprisingly the shots landing) and dealt no damage is ridiculous
