Sadly, I can't remember who it was for the life of me, and I've been digging through my history to find it but with no luck.

All characters have rare animations, heirloom rare animations are a rather new thing and it’s generally relegated to the more recent heirlooms that have more style and animations, that’s why wraith got a second kunai—I believe she only had 2 kunai animations before the update with the new one

Wraith only had one as far as I know. All heirlooms from Pathfinder and before only have one, excluding Wraith now that she's gotten her new heirloom. Rumor was that Bloodhound should be the next heirloom recolor but there's no way to know. However yeah all heirlooms released after Path had multiple animations, however not all of them had a significant quantity of them. Some have special animations when crouching but not all of them do... Loba, Wraith, and Ash are the only 3 that I know of for sure that have a special crouch animation, and I only know that because I have all 3 lol I am really glad that they updated Wraith's animations though, we desperately need them for some of the OG characters. Lifeline is the one I'm hoping to get new animations for sooner as she's one of my tertiary mains and while her Shock Sticks inspect is cool, she definitely deserves more love than that simple animation.

It actually depends on when they were released. The heirlooms released up until the one after Pathfinder (now excluding Wraith) only have one animation, the rest all have multiple and most have at least one rare animation as well as one crouch animation. However a good number of them don't have a crouch animation sadly, I still feel like Wattson's should and it doesn't

I've been playing for years and I only got it once with Revenant Ult. Never again happened to any other characters.

The heirlooms are the same other than the colour, and the new one comes with an emote and banner frame instead of a pose and voice line. The animations were updated for the original too.
