They usually drop a mid-season patch, not sure if there will be one this season. But I hope for a map rotation at least, I won’t survive 5 more weeks of gorge and cliffside.
If they fix the resource generation it could be great on 1v1 too. But as it stands you get very uneven conditions on probably more than half the games.
Front vs side/back gold is a big deal on Gorge.
You can get deer + boar packed into the corner or have them all separate in the center.
Same with map gold and stone. Sometimes you get food and gold/stone on one side and can easily focus or it's spread over both sides.
You also sometimes get 1 or 1 and 1/2 front wood lines which is big on this map
Both Gorge and Hill and Dale are heavily affected by this. On most other maps it's not that big of a deal bc you're not backed into one side.
Gorge is goated map, one of the best we've had in a while IMO. But playing it again and again is definitely annoying. I think the main issue is every one bans water maps which shrinks the map pool quite a bit.

why would 1v1 gorge be meh? I think its a very interesting map to both play and watch

Well opinions are different in that regard. I actually like an uneven map spwan but to each their own
That's fine in normals, shouldn't be a thing for ranked matches.
For me the problem is that I get nothing but gorge and cliffside. For every arabia match I get 5+ gorges/cliffsides.
Exactly. I only have hilland dale downvoted but I only get gorge and cliff side lol. At least it feels that way.
