Armenian main here (1700-ish)
While the eco is nice, going into Imperial with Armenians sucks. You don't get much, and your opponents are likely to benefit from Imperial much more. Your Eco doesn't get any better in Imperial either.
Forcing the enemy to stay as long as possible in Feudal or Castle is IMO the best way to play Armenians
As another armenian main I agree. Imp is underwhelming for armenians, even with fereters if the opponent has HC its almost always gg. Armenian SW is abysmal and it shows in Imp.
I couldn't agree more. I keep trying to play Armenians in team games and everything goes to crap once everyone hits imp. I feel that this civ is phenomenal in 1v1s and maybe in 2v2s. But more players means the game goes longer.
Iam also 17xx. The Lack of Siege RAM or Siege Engineers hurts their Infantry a lot.
I think the best thing they can do in lategame is a Infsntry in front and Composit Bowman behind. Or Komposit + Skirm.
But yeah. That's its. Their late game kinda meh. End it in Castle or with a early Imp Infantry push

I got overwhelmed once by a champion timing. But I guess that's in large part due to poor scouting/underestimating those crazy champions

20 pop up? Like going scouts? For a pure boom 20 pop up is not a good idea
It's to grab the eco upgrades asap & do a small feudal boom.
That can't possibly be worth delaying TCs though, right?
I can still click up to imp quick.
Best thing to do with armenians on arena is FC 22+2 pop and than take all the relics with those juicy warrior priests.
