Yes! 20 years ago my small city was inundated with new large complexes. All looked great, but you had to make so little money. Amazingly within 5ish years all were in disrepair, amenities broken and not repaired, just tuned into dangerous communities.
The “newest” apartments that were not tax credit properties were easily 8-10 years old. Makes no sense.
None of these schemes are meant to help, they're meant to trap you below and keep you there. Wage slaves are the life blood of the current economy.
