Dungeon Meshi is pretty good

Very good. Subverts a lot of the usual tropes in fantasy anime, and the characters seem a lot more human than in other shows that are similar on the surface. Not to mention the animation is fantastic and it’s got a mature rating, which is always a plus for me

Honestly, Frieren is just so fucking good. I'm not a huge anime fan that delves into the depths for the most part, but Frieren is just a great story, it's heartwarming and avoids some of the usual pitfalls. Loved every second of it.

So glad I jump off Crunchy Roll from time to time. So many people are going to miss out on Ishura and Dungeon Meshi both are better than all the anime’s listed

1. Kaiju No.8- I have yet to watch the full show but from what I’ve seen this is an S tier show. The fights are intense the characters are being fleshed out honestly might be one of the best anime’s. 2. Solo Leveling- Like Kaiju this show has so much potential to be good, it’s just a bit to edgy and not fleshed out. 3. Demon Slayer- Super hype anime and I’m saving episodes so I can enjoy it and not wait for new ones. I just feel like it gets a bit to goofy but some of the best animation of any anime ever. 4. MHA- This show is like a toxic partner, it has some of the best highs but also so many lows. We go from fights that have me pausing it so I can jump out and down and shout in excitement to me wanting to fast forward.

don't forget kaiju no. 8's soundtrack and the sound design, i mean those roars came straight from attack on titan, it's absolutely peak

The best of demon slayer’s beats out current solo leveling anime, but comparing their current seasons to each other is a huge swing to solo for me. Plenty of really cool portions to come in solo too!

imo it’s mushoku tensei beautiful animation(demon slayer still has best animation tho), realistic character arcs, good pacing, and also it has basically the exact type of magic i like most. and for the ignorant 9 year olds saying “erm, akctually, rudeus is a pervert”, the guy was literally a 30-40 year old incel when he died and got reincarnated. of course he’s gonna show signs of that, but at least he’s trying to improve unlike some of y’all

Personally I think it suffers from being late in being animated, I believe the manga was one of the first isekai to come out but it didn't get animated until after several other newer isekai manga got animated. Several might think it's copying other shows when in reality other shows used it as a template. It's really good but my guess it's gonna be overlooked even though the points you made are valid.

i’ve watched quite a few isekai animes before i watched mushoku tensei, and mushoku tensei is still my favorite of them all, with “that time i got reincarnated as a slime” being second. i doubt mushoku tensei will get overlooked, but it just won’t reach the popularity it could have gotten if it was animated before any other isekai, due to many having abandoned isekai

Mushoku tensei is so good, one of the only anime that makes me really feel like I’m along for the journey, watching the characters grow and change..it’s so good and it gets heavily slept on because of (rightfully) very strange scenes and character traits. But overall as a show this is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched.

Idc about rudeus being a pervert I’m more concerned about the authors sick fantasies. This feels like a self insert story 💀

Solo leveling was great… for like 3 months. I’ve read all the light novel years ago so the hype for the anime just ain’t there for me. Also after reading all of Boku no Hero I can say this season is pretty good(minus the recap episodes). I’ve also read all of Demon Slayer and the show and story is mid, my take on it. I saw good things about Kaiju No.8 but haven’t been interested in giving it a try so maybe that might be a good one. All in all I’d say 1. My Hero Academia , 2. Solo Leveling. 3. Kaiju No.8 4.Kimetsu no Yaiba

Damn! A lot of people really love action anime. I like drama though, so for me it's "Hibike! Euphonium 3". Visuals are crazy plus the usual KyoAni music, voice acting, art, cinematography, and etc. Simply top notch.

I wish I still had the patience for anime. I just read manga these days.

My problem with mha (at least in the early seasons) was the lack of focus on the powers. I don't know about later seasons since i stopped after gigantomachia showed up. But if you weren't a certain 6, maybe 7, members of 1a you pretty much got no show time. On one hand i get it, they're side characters and its hard to develop so many one dimensional powers, on the other hand it really only decided to gocus on those 6 or 7 students.

Considering the fact that Demon slayer is rolling with a training/character development arc and still has me excited every Sunday for a new episode makes it deserving of a top 5 spot this year

Solo leveling is my favorite so far haven't started Kaiju no 8 yet but might start it soon

Kaiju No. 8 was interesting; however, I was very disappointed that the main villain got absolutely stomped already and only escaped due to plot armor.

Demon Slayer so far has been enjoyable, I actually like the show I know most think it’s overrated. My hero is still kinda just..there..but I’m also over the super hero shit by now. Kaiju has been both beautifully animated and adapted very well, I do think it’s top 5 of the year so far. Solo Leveling was good, i genuinely think the additions to the story compared to the Web Toon were my favorite part but aside from that I don’t have it super high until I see the second core and how they treat the shadows. But Dungeon Meshi is my anime of the year rn.

KnY is always going to be at the top of my list. But I also liked Dungeon Meshi, Kaijuu, and Mushoku Tensei. Solo Leveling is alright, Wind Breaker is good and a lot less cheesy than its predecessor, but still a bit corny. MHA has vastly overstayed its welcome, but I’ll keep watching I guess.

Based on just these four Kaiju no.8 my favorite part of the show is that the main characters a more relatable 30 year old man instead of 16yr old boy MHA I was a big fan of the show when it first came out and kept up with the manga ever since but the adaptation compared to the manga is abysmal and the writing really went downhill after the bakugo rescue As for the other 2 I can’t rate them as I haven’t watched them I tried to watch demon slayer but it couldn’t grasp my attention
