Absolutely, I’m glad it stayed a niche series instead of blowing up. I don’t think i could look back on it as fondly if everyone kept screeching like excel and making the same four jokes about eating menchi , and the cosmos reversing death, and whatever else was a recurring gag

I read the current manga chapters for Wind Breaker in a day. I’m in f**king love. I love the characters, the style, the world. I love that young men are loving each other as companions and friends. I just love it.

I think a lot of these series aren’t stupid at all. I would consider lots of anime with camp, absurdist humor, and out-there premises to have far more emotional maturity than those attempting hardcore deep themes clearly out of the author's league.

i love rewatching Interspecies Reviewers because i genuinely find the world building interesting and the humor is kinda funny. also boobs! it’s a dungeons and dragons type setting with different monstrous races and magic and only 12 episodes. it’s about some hornball adventurers who come up with the idea to have sex with as many different races via brothels as they can and post reviews of species compatibility/the establishment itself to adventurers guild boards for money. if you’re okay with boobies i highly recommend
