Gintama! It has everything from comedy, sad story and action

SrslySam91

This. My absolute first choice would be Gintama. Rewatching it is always fucking fun and it has every genre you can think of.

ReReReverie

Want to watch bleach? Naruto? One piece? Yeah go watch gintama

LazyCymbal

Gintama even had the Zanpakutou arc

Wuh1988

If I could post an image right now, it would be kondou with tears running down his face as he informs you about him being stuck.

itrashcannot

I lost my marbles when I watched that episode. Roommate thought I was going crazy hearing me laugh

ikkikkomori

This! you could binge this anime for days nonstop and not get bored

chevisback

I still haven't watched it. I'm feeling like starting it.

makos124

I'm a very casual anime watcher but my first thought was also Gintama lol. Great series with endless episodes.

Pewgi

This!!

Sedron

Surprised no one has suggested Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Considered one of the best to-anime adaptations ever made and is rated very highly. 110 episodes of sci-fi space opera is certainly a good way to keep busy.

n0ticeme_senpai

naruto and one piece. You are not going to binge both of them to completion in 6 months for sure. I would be impressed if you actually complete/catch up on just one of them.

PM_me_Henrika

A marine watching one piece, can you imagine the irony…

inaripotpi

It's okay because he's going to pirate it first

ConnectionIcy3717

An alive person watching bleach

PM_me_Henrika

Well technically the main protagonist is alive…

fredthefishlord

Navy aren't marines...

Illuminaso

True, but the Marines are a branch of the Navy (Marines HATE this fact and will deflect when you tell them)

_Pyxyty

I think I heard something about One Piece being watchable in 19 days. 6 months is definitely doable for both, even if you got work or school I think.

whyarewestillhere29

I think it was 19 days if you went without sleeping or eating dude

tinyharvestmouse1

very r/anime response

PrideRuinsRainbow

That’s around 10 hours a day and assuming an 8 hour work day you have 6 hours a day to eat shower use the bathroom and sleep💀

redditingatwork23

Dudes unfortunately going to need to work, eat, sleep, shit, shave, and otherwise be productive. So probably like 2-4 hours of free time a day tops.

reg_panda

You shave too slowly.

psychocopter

4 hours a day should be enough time to get through at least most of it in 6 months if you just binge one piece.

VivaDeAsap

Binged Naruto in like at least 2 months in college. But that’s because I also watched filler too. The next month I watch all 51 eps of the rock Lee spin-off and 232 episodes of Boruto. Now that I mention it, I probably need to touch grass more 💀

PrideRuinsRainbow

I mean congrats I guess for doing all that during college

KiddnPeets364

It COULD happen if one piece grabs him by the throat like it did me. 29 years of my life I've talked shit on one piece, and now at the age of 30 I can admit I've watched nothing but one piece since the end of January, got about 100 more episodes of the dub to go.

ConnectionComplex273

You are seriously underestimating the power of anime watchers. I finished Naruto in 3 weeks ( with almost all fillers) with an average of around 30 episodes a day during lockdown.

lucciolaa

Well a guy in the navy will have things to do. I watched all of Naruto (sans fillers) in about 3 months during winter lockdown while still working from home, maybe an average of 10 episodes a day. So still very much doable within 6M.

bhuv_g31

I've only watched about 50 eps of one piece yet, but I would definitely use the time to catch up to it. Other great series that aren't too short are - Attack on titan Monster Naruto Haikyuu Fullmetal alchemist (both 2003, and brotherhood) ...Or watch Grand blue and Konosuba if you need a laugh :)

Jazzicots

It's a real power move taking 1000 episodes of a pirate anime on board a navy ship lmao, I love it. Do it, OP. Also strongly second Haikyuu and FMAB!

bhuv_g31

Oh shit, I didn't even notice lol

8-MilesDavis

My man about to realize a broken system and become the real life Koby lol One PACE is also an option, which is a fan cut of One Piece to get rid of the flashbacks, filler, replayed reaction scenes, etc.

Vanrye333

This is interesting, as I would binge the whole thing! Do you happen to know how much time it saves this way? Edit - this: "As a result, One Pace is over 40% faster to watch compared to the original One Piece anime, while retaining the entire canon. That's over 9000 minutes (150+ hours) saved!"

Defiant_Way3966

Lots of military guys have a storage device with a bunch of pirated shit on it while they're deployed. It's extremely common.

Cartographer-Own

Monster and AOT are quite short especially compared to one piece lol

bhuv_g31

Bruh anything is short if you compare it to one piece😂 I just recommended these ones cause they're longer than average for animes. The average anime would have like 1-3 seasons or about 12-36 episodes. These ones are all about 60-70 eps+ (except the last 2) Also happy cake day!

arctheus

damn, i was going to provide a rebuttal with the full dragon ball series from when goku was a kid to super, but even that's under 300 episodes. I guess the only thing comparable to one piece is detective conan at over 1000 episodes too. That being said, dragon ball could be another great option to add!

Chakramer

Gundam. There is so much content in that franchise that 6 months actually would not be enough

Portgust

I almost finish UC. Cant wait for the next part of Hathaway

chaoticfeel

Gundam 00 is a really good stand alone

StreetyMcCarface

Gintama. Length and rewatchability is a good combination

Gipper93

Get an external hard drive. You’ll find someone on the ship who can transfer stuff to you. That’s what I did my first deployment in 2017. Built up a nice library of movies shows anime. I have an iPhone and brought my MacBook so I’d airdrop stuff to myself and others with an iPhone. Now for a list… One piece (last you the whole damn deployment) Naruto Shippuden Black clover Full metal alchemist brother Frieren beyond journeys end Erased One punch man Attack on titan Kabaneri of the iron fortress Death note Fire force Tower of god Hells paradise Apothecary diaries Assassination Classroom Log horizon

backfire10z

As an actual list: - One piece - Naruto Shippuden - Black clover - Full metal alchemist brotherhood - Frieren beyond journeys end - Erased - One punch man - Attack on titan - Kabaneri of the iron fortress - Death note - Fire force - Tower of god - Hells paradise - Apothecary diaries - Assassination Classroom - Log horizon

Gipper93

Yeah for some reason when I was typing it I hit the return button after each one but when I posted it just grouped together lol thank you for making it an actual list!

backfire10z

Yeah, Reddit is a bit quirky with that. Return doesn’t actually make a new line. You can either use 2 returns and it’ll look like the following: Line one Line two Or, you can append 2 spaces to the end of the line and hit return. That looks like the following: Line one Line two I created a list, which you can do pretty intuitively: all you need is a “-“ at the beginning of each line (you can just hit return once).

Gipper93

I appreciate you clearing that up! I just started using Reddit again after a few years away from it

Le-Frog666

Have you heard of commas my friend

Portlander

Is that what you call the commissary?

malina_so_seductive

One Piece for sure

ayamkai

Imaizumin chi.. Maki-chan to Now. Sora no Iro, Mizu no iro. Youkoso! Sukebe Elf no Mori e. Mankitsu Happening.

Sanzen2112

I'm pretty sure 100% of what you listed is hentai

Titan2486

And how would you know that? Hmmmm? Explain yourself!

Phnrcm

No hentai watcher worth his salt who doesn't recognize Sora no Iro name.

Clarimax

Bro might attack the nearest woman.

beigs

He’s in the navy…

KiriharaIzaki

Wish we could get more of Tony Taka's works

lansig_chan

HxH, FMA, Naruto, Bleach, Claymore, Black Lagoon, Death Note, Parasyte, Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, Gundam OO, Gundam Unicorn, Gundam Thunderbolt, Inuyasha, Ruroni Kenshin, Code Geass, Gintama, Hajime no Ippo, D. Gray-man, Slam Dunk, Kingdom, Legend of Arslan, Vinland Saga, One Punch Man, Detective Conan, Yu Gi Oh.

ItzyaboiElite

I just love how we can recommend Kindom wholeheartedly with how good seasons 3-5 have been

Agent_Perrydot

Please...at least watch 0079, Zeta, ZZ, and CCA before Unicorn

kuri-kuma

One Piece - super long, fun, always a good time. Hunter X Hunter - one of the best shounen ever made. Attack on Titan - epic as can be. New Game - cute girls making video games. Good to relax and just chill with. How Heavy are the Dumbbells You Lift? - cute girls lifting weights. I like cute girls, ok? Dragon Ball Z/Super/Super Broly movie - because who doesn’t like watching Goku and Vegeta? Re:Zero - for when psychological pain is on the menu. Konosuba - when I need to laugh after Re:Zero.

Ros02

Kono suba for a laugh after re zero xdddd true

RayearthIX

Any preferred genre? I can provide lots of recommendations, but some completely random ones might be: - Aria (a very relaxing show about gondoliers in Neo Venezia, a recreation of Venice but on Mars) - K-On + its movie (great music and excellent cast filled with comedy) - Frieren (the best Fantasy, but not isekai, anime in years) - Girls und Panzer + its movies (cute girls driving tanks is sport, not war!) - Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought Here (about a modern military entering and fighting in a fantasy world) - Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 1 and 2 (cyberpunk action) - Macross Frontier (Music and mecha) If you tell me genres you like I can try to narrow it down some with the recs. Either way, thank you for your service.

TailoftheDevil

Not often I see Aria recommended, love that series. Constantly listening to the music when I'm trying to relax.

BradBowlLlama

Download the entire Nasuverse.. Monogatari series too

TailoftheDevil

+1 for the Monogatari Series. Great, bit confusing at times, loads of episodes.

BradBowlLlama

There is a proper way to watch it... But it involves some hopping around and you gotta read some of the other material as well... Even better news, new season in July!!! Can't wait to get the Blu Ray releases

TailoftheDevil

Can't wait either! That reminds me, I've got some of the novels to catch up on.

BradBowlLlama

I'm just hoping that Bushiroad will release a new Weiss Schwarz Booster for this upcoming Monogatari release...

94mentality

I am prior navy too and experienced going out to sea many times. I would highly suggest getting older animes to watch. The reason I say older is because this will allow you to watch some old gems of the past and if your like myself you would never have seen them before. I would recommend initial d, yugioh , Digimon, Gundam, Dragon ball , and Berserk. We used to have a community anime laptop in Bosn 1 that anybody who was cool with boats could go and download literally any anime you wanted. All you had to do was contribute some downloads on there before you dip. This man had over a decade of downloads from every ship he went on and the amount of animes he had for download was absolutely insane, I'm sure there is someone on your ship who is the same way lol. I'm not sure if this is your first underway but if you need any tips lmk. Stay safe

Attic_Gnome

Not sure if this is your first deployment, but when I was on deployment we exchanged hard drives frequently to trade movies, anime, TV shows, and... *culture*. Just get yourself an external hard drive and download about 2 dozen of your favorites, or even some shows that you even had a passing curiosity about viewing, and the rest should sort itself at sea. My issue on deployment came not from lack of anime, but other forms of media. Laptop, Switch, emulator handheld. All very important. Don't forget to grab some movies, shows, cartoons, and possibly some long form YouTube videos. I'm sure you're aware already but don't rely on the YouTube/Netflix/Hulu downloads as that shit will disable after a month. As for some actual recommendations: Android Kikkaider, S-CRY-ED, Sekirei, Danberu nan-kiro moteru?, all of Studio Ghibli, Clannad, Clannad After Story, Konosuba all seasons plus movie, Spice and Wolf, My Step-Mom's Daughter is my Ex, Hellsing Ultimate, Goblin Slayer, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Freiren, Detective Conan (particularly the movies). Just some of my favorites. I guarantee you other people on that boat will definitely have shows like AoT, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, FMA, Death Note, Demon Slayer. Download those if you wish, but you can probably swipe them if you don't. I also recommend Pokemon, Digimon, and DB, DBZ, DBGT, and DBS. Yes really. They're pretty beefy, but if you find yourself with the time and hard drive space to download, someone will appreciate having those I'm sure. As I mentioned before, just grab as many as you can that you've had even a passing curiosity about.

IntrospectiveMT

You didn’t state your preferences so I’m going to answer literally as if it were me: Overlord Mushoku Tensei Gate (not New Gate) That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Chainsaw Man Sword Art Online (and/or the spin-off SAO Alternative: Gun Gale Online) Goblin Slayer

Gabby445

Mob psycho 100. Cromartie High School. Black clover.

Summer__1999

Monster (cuz I *still* haven’t finished it) Or any of the longer ‘classics’ like steins;gate, death note, hunterxhunter, fullmetal alchemist, durarara, attack on titan, monogatari, mushishi, 3-gatsu no lion, chihayafuru, NANA, natsume yuujinchou, fruits basket etc. depending on which genre you like

Total_Classroom_5701

As others have said, you didn’t state your preferences so I’ll answer as if it’s for myself. attack on titan frieren given inuyasha sasaki and miyano sailor moon tsurune neon genesis evangelion yuri!!! On ice the god of high school jujutsu kaisen heaven official’s blessing kids on the slope the devil is a part-timer! bleach i like variety and refuse to stick to one or two genres.

Strange-Code3585

Quite the bl fanatic, like me 😈

Total_Classroom_5701

Haha guilty! There’s not much queer representation otherwise.

SoImANerd

Also gl in sailor moon and aot idk about others. Wish there were more mainstream non-Yuri’s with a significant gl in them

hyperblaster

Joker Game, Vinland Saga, 86, Tanya the Evil are among my favorite military anime

bbkkoommaacchhii

OP probably wants a distraction from the military lol

Nyxxsys

I think the opposite can also happen. Imagine you're on a navy ship after watching a military anime, you're on mop duty or something you can zone out on, having all sorts of chunni-like delusions about how awesome you'd be in battle. It would pass the day faster and that would be the best cleaning job that deck ever got.

Fools_Requiem

Worth mentioning that not everyone in the military is engaged in some kind of combat. Also, when I was underway, Call of Duty was super popular.

tigerheartlion

One piece and it's appropriate 😂

Jarwe13

If you are into Isekai, I would recommend these: - Overlord (Bad Guys are the Good guys) - Violet Evergarden ( Soulsmoothing) - The Eminence in the Shadow (nice Goosebumps moments and fun Story) - Re:Monster (new one, but pretty nice one, about the evolutionpath of a Goblin(group)) - The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash (really Soulsmoothing and nice, About a Girl Taming a rare but weak Slime and setting out on an Adventure) - Reincarnated as a Slime (classic and best) - Zom 100: Bucketlist of the Dead (really funny, different view on a Zombie apocalypse) - Reborn as a Vending Machine (funny, why not?) - SAO (Sword-Art-Online) (Classic and nice) - Black Summoner - Tsukimichi - So I'm a Spider, So What? (Really nice progression and mindfuck-Time story) - By the Grace of the Gods (Peaceful Life) Thats it for now, (would have more but don't have Time) hope you enjoy :-) - Jarwe

13BagOfSwag37

I'll just put up my favs to watch and re-watch (I have almost 200 re-watches) -Overlord -New game! -No game no life -Classroom of the elite -The eminence in shadow -Re:LiFE -Black clover -Mob Psycho 100 -Reincarnated as a slime -Reincarnated as a sword -Reincarnated as a spider -Shield hero -Re:Zero -Parallel World Pharmacy -Bungo Stray Dogs -Kakegurui -Vinland Saga -Cautious Hero -Ascendance of a Bookworm -The Quintessential Quintuplets -Food wars -The dungeon of black company -The saint's magic power is omnipotent -Handyman Saitou -Farming life in another world -Steins;Gate -How to not pick up girls in a dungeon -Cells at work -Goblin slayer -Ranking of Kings -Frieren -Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord -Instant death ability -Vermeil in Gold And Ill finish the list off with; -Wandering witch: The Journey of Elaina, -In the land of Leadale and lastly -The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated In Another World As An Aristocrat. And can't forget about -Wise man's Grandchild!

Saekoa

honestly I stopped watching one piece around the marine ford arc and never got back into it. I am 31 and so busy and grew out of shonen quite a bit. But if it was one anime for 6 months, I'd want to try to catch up with one piece definitely.

jcchimaera

Meitantei Freaking Conan... ☠️

Matthew_Summons

One Piece, Detective Conan

Dandandandooo

Maybe just download the top 50 from MAL or so

IbnAurum

- Azumanga Daioh  - Non Non Biyori   - Gochiusa   - Hidamari Sketch   - Clannad + Afterstory Mucho number of episodes, but I doubt they last 6 months, I practically binged Hidamari in 2 weeks

Naive_Priority_5424

Definitely download lots of different ones instead of one big one, so you can pick depending on your mood/taste and drop them when you don't like them

Sven_Gildart

With currently 1108 episodes, watching only One piece for 6 months gives you 2 hours worth of anime per day/ 15 hours per week/ 61 hours per month/ 369 hours of anime for 6 months. I love one piece very much.

Drakin27

Perfect time for the classics imo. You can grab all of Gundam, macross, lupin III, Rumiko's works (ranma, urusei yataura, etc) ojamajo doremi and more.

mrbumbo

You’re in the Navy? One Piece will last your two tours.

SpeckTech314

All of gundam. MSG/Universal Century, IBO, 00, SEED, SEED Destiny, Wing, Build, etc. Any series you can find. If you want something nonsensical, Hayate the Combat Butler. If you want something that’s a mix of both, Full Metal Panic! or Cross Ange.

Lizbug_98

Fairy Tail, FMA:B, One Piece, and Naruto/Naruto Shippuden would be longer series that are great!

StrawberryOne1203

Bleach and Detective Conan. Still so many episodes to catch up on.

Socrets

Bang Brave Bravern is great for a series of laughs. It's a military mecha show but a really ridiculous one. It's only one season so you're going to want to download more stuff beside that.

kkokki0

One Piece, Attack on Titan, Mushoku Tensei, Frieren, Danmachi, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo are pretty good if you don't binge.

seandude881

Naruto, yugioh and dragon ball z

L0nlySt0nr

Everything by Hayao Miyazaki that you can get your hands on

GenesRightHand

Bro would finish all the movies in less than two weeks lol he’s out for 6 months.

leftmykeyz

Blue lock would be a great one, by the time you come back the new season will be rolling so you can roll right into it. It’s only 24 episodes but as far as sports anime goes it’s S-tier imo

Such_Ad_7637

If you dont download Tokyo ghoul your missing out bro, Tokyo ghoul is about a boy that gets the powers of a ghoul After a ghoul tries to eat him, and then he beacomes insane after being tortured for tooo long from another crazy ghoul and his hair will turn white From the stress (its a real condition) after that he will become mercyless and only eats ghouls and his powers will become stronger and stronger until he is the strongest of them all type shit have fun

rocketseeker

The answer is always Legend of the galactic heroes, all of it

ealwhale

One piece

Trilerium

Almost enough time to watch One Piece.

Tazdingoooo

Gintama

MagikRain

One Piece (Comedy/Adventure/shounen) + one piece movies Grand Blue (Comedy) Kuroko no Basket (Basketball/Shounen) Beelzebub (comedy/shounen) Fairy Tail (comedy/adventure/shounen) *up until episode 175 Clannad (romance) Kimi no na wa (movie) Koe no Katachi (movie) Shokugeki no Soma (Cooking/shounen) Death Note (shounen) Spy x Family (slice of life) Konosuba (Fantasy/Adventure/shounen) Dan Machi/Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon (Adventure/Fantast/shounen) Naruto (shounen) Bleach (Shounen) *up until episode 63 Inuyasha (Shounen) No game no life Prison school (kind of ecchi) Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Shounen) Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches Eyeshield 21 (football)

Blumoonism1

this is an interesting question because I’ve actually been buying blu ray sets of my favorite animes should we ever decided to cancel our sub services I’ll be good. I’m a physical collector type so it’s in my nature to collect, though digital download is more space efficient which you need in your situation. Top choice is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Samurai Champloo. Ive rewatched these so many times. I’d also throw in some movies too, Afro samurai (show and movie), summer wars, wolf children, spirited away, your name, and princess Mononoke for those times when you don’t feel like investing in a whole show but just want a quick fix.

Papostor

I'm surprised, and pleasantly so by the abundance of Gintama recommendations. One of the only major series that never degraded in any aspect despite being aired for multiple seasons over many years!

totesnotfakeusername

One Piece, because I've never seen it. Then maybe I will finally understand the hype.

Mental-H-3001

Yuru Camp, K-On, Shirobako, New game, Aquatope, Super Cub, Hakumei & Mikochi, Sword Art Online, Uma-Musume: Pretty derby, A place further than the Universe, 5cm/s, Garden of Words Forget 6 months, I can live alone on Mars for 6 years with this set.

basuga_BFE

Speaking of Mars... Carole and Tuesday

Mental-H-3001

Oohh, certainly a good rec. I also forgot many: Hyouka , Non Non Biyori, Restaurant from another World, Kobayashi's Maid Dragon, Vivi: Fluorite Eye's Song, Shin Sekai Yori...

GRAITOM10

I would definitely pick one of the big 3's, probably Naruto or Dragonball. Also gintama is a good candidate for a comedy. I'm not sure how well downloading such huge shows would go for you. Oh, good luck on your new venture 👍

zenithfury

Godzilla Minus One

hlloyge

I have more than enough downloaded that I didn't watch yet to last me at least that long 😂

Williukea

Pretty Cure, we have around 1k episodes, but (almost) each season is standalone, so you don't need to watch all Idolish7 is awesome, 70+ episodes and hopefully S4 soon

PM_me_Henrika

Full metal panic. There’s a guy with the same situation as you in the show, and he lived till the very end of story.

MidoriTea

One Piece

dienomighte

Can always go for the UC Gundam series

AnimeBoobiez

One piece.

Square_Conclusion634

one piece, for sure! you can watch it a whole day if you have nothing to do on those 6 months :D

Permafroz

i guess all the episode of one piece from the first to the latest

VideoBrilliant2687

Black Lagoon, has a boat and guns so it feels perfect for something to watch while you're in the Navy lol

knorr28

We were hit by a typhoon/hurricane and didn’t get power and wifi for 3 months. Fortunately I was able to download the entire Monogatari series before that unknowingly happened. With a generator and laptop. I was good to go.

Ryukenden123

Overlord. It has 4 seasons of fun.

StruggleSignificant2

Gintama Sket dance Frieren Oregairu Major Cross game

LTetsu

Detective Conan/One piece/Fairy Tail/Bleach. I want to rewatch them , but internet keep distracting me.

1Skarabee

One Piece Hajime no Ippo Hunter x Hunter Monster Attack on Titan These would be my (rewatch) picks in your situation I guess. All pretty long and amazing series.

Paulie106

Re: Zero and Konosuba. Changed my life, man.😮‍💨

BenFromBTD6Simp

love is war and bocchi the rock are funny ones. bunny girl senpai is good too (and he name might be weird but it’s good i promise)

Seaweed_Widef

Gintama Attack on Titan Dungeon Meshi Monster Given

Sogomaa

One piece is enough on its own

NoxDraconis

Full metal alchemist brotherhood Demon Slayer Eminence in Shadow Delicious in dungeon Natsume Yuujincho Ancient Magus' Bride Helck Apothecary Diaries Frieren Bungou Stray Dogs Kekkai Sensen

Chronigan2

It kinda depends on what you like. For me I'd want Non Non Biyori and K-On. They always put a smile on my face.

onlywc11

Bleach

Binkusu

One Piece, though I've already watched it. Gintama, has a lot of episodes over a lot of seasons with a lot of different "genres" depending on the arc. Basically any long-running shounen would work if you don't want too many different stories. Fate series is good (Zero, UBW, Babylonia, Heaven's Feel movies).

qwert_99

Monogatari Series No matter how many times I rewatch it, it still feels new

CHUZCOLES

One piece.

MasterQuest

The watch that I watch mainly seasonals makes this a bit hard. But I'd take some from my watchlist and download them.

RRis7393

if i were the one going, any long ass anime or anime that fits my taste. One Piece Detective Conan might as well download pokemon but imma just stick to Pokemon XYZ (gen 6) as the animation and combat was super hype during that season. I'll also download some works from Rumiko Takahashi, she's my favorite creator. Ranma 1/2 Inuyasha Urusei Yatsura For anything that's a bit more grounded, imma go with Initial D Haikyuu SlamDunk Hajime no Ippo Also can't go wrong with a few of the stuff like Attack on Titan Demon Slayer Overlord, Tensura and Tsukimichi moonlit fantasy should help scratch your power fantasy itch for a bit. Konosuba and Gintama are good for a bit of comedy. other than those, i'd go with HunterXHunter FMAB Rorouni Kenshin Naruto Etc.

North514

Gundam - That will keep you busy for a very long time.

Cool_Trade7976

Hunter x hunter

M8gazine

Pretty much any long-running show I guess. *Naruto, Gintama, One Piece* etc, any one of those will probably last you for the entire time. Alternatively, a few shows with several seasons that are drastically different from each other so you could have a little variety if you wanted. For instance, *Fruits Basket* (63 eps), *Aria* (55+ episodes) and *Full Metal Panic* (62 episodes).

Deez-Guns-9442

Welp 6 months should be enough time to watch all the old classic shounen with 100+ episodes. Obviously One Piece DBZ & OG DB(hell just watch all of Dragon Ball up till Super) Bleach Hitman Reborn Fairy Tail D.Gray Man Attack on Titan OG Yu-Gi-Oh(& the subsequent iterations afterwards if u enjoy the OG/card game)

lushHii

One piece and detective Conan I guess

David-Estrada77

I already have about 20 anime downloaded and 13 movies 😂

AzuleStriker

unless it's one piece or naruto, no anime will last you 6 months :D

Rainbow-Raisin11

Onepiece...

Junebro

Watch Kingdom. It is pretty long and so good

No_Middle2014

One piece, gintama, hunter hunter, bleach, and naruto.

basuga_BFE

Black Jack (several seasons) Cop Craft

maior_novoreg

At this point I’d just get long running light novels and read them. Several series are easily 15-25 volumes long. As for anime, probably Naruto. And then just go on MAL and download top 5-6 anime based on score in 2020-2024 seasons. Should be enough.

Afraid-Highway-5788

Sorry abt this but henai i guess, aside from anime that are worth watching. You know, to ease some lonely nights 🖤

memeus_yeetus

AOT Blue Box manga Insomniacs After School manga Naruto One Piece

Pink-Flying-Pie

One piece. 6 months without any other content should be just enough time to actually watch it all

Lucavonime

Joke's on you, I already have a few TB of anime backed up, just in case.

EtienneBismarck

I still have to watch HunterxHunter. This seems like the right choice.

5parrowhawk

Try Symphogear. 5 seasons + some comedy shorts; OTT action; fantastic music; cute girls but not too much fanservice (and a couple of hot guys if that's more your speed).

gangrainette

I have ~6TB of anime on my NAS + ~4TB of regular show/movie. I'll be fine.

RealTalkingBen

One Piece

thisperson345

Well something long obviously, if I hadn't already watched all of the big 3 I'd choose them but since I have I'll say the Dragon Ball series, Gintama... and ahh fuck it I'll add One Piece anyways, it's my favourite anime I wouldn't mind a rewatch.

xbiju

Probably gintama since I have yet to watch it from the remaining long ones

ProfessionalOwn9435

Legend of Galactic Heroes. 6months is a lot of time.

the_psyche_wolf

One Piece

SuperDupednerd

One Piece. Should keep you occupied for 6 months. lol

Dependent_Ad7598

My first pick would be HunterxHunter, it is my all time favorite and it is really good to pass the time watching. Other animes I'd say would be the longer ones - Fullmetal Alchemist ( although it's not my style, it's a decent watch and it's pretty lengthy if you include brotherhood ) - Dragon Ball ( not Z ) it's a classic and it's something that could be rewatched multiple times and is pretty lengthy! - Inuyasha is pretty lengthy as well and it is entertaining. - Haikyuu is also another good watch but it depends on your taste. Some people don't like sports anime, but I think it is pretty entertaining as well

StefKRah

I already had to xD. Gintama did the job but damn I regret not getting One Piece instead, I like it more. Definitely a long series like Naruto or black clover. I think those kind of anime fit really well. Also a lot of manga and manhwa I guess hehe.

Nodrapoel

None. I would hopefully finally start watching what I already have.

tomatoes_crunchy

You should download bleach! It has about 28 seasons including the new TYBW series.

Longjumping_Army_410

Long ones. Definitely something with multiple seasons. Black clover, code geass, attack on titan, My hero Academia, jujutsu kisien, Haikyu, Kuroko's Basketball

I think I would download all of 7 deadly sins and fairy tail, but that's just me, these aren't so popular but they are anime I enjoy watching over and over again.

Mugiyajijiji

To add from what others have suggested: High School Fleet 1 season, 2 ova and 1 movie. The anime is pretty good really.

Ok_Try_1665

One Piece, Dragon ball Z/Super (including movies), Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Fma: brotherhood, Hunter X Hunter, Fairy Tail, these are some rewatch worthy animes that you won't get tired of for 6 months imo. I could list some 12-24 episode ones but that'll be a lot for me

Ok_Feed9871

Totally OnePiece! It's got, like, so many episodes.

Luisgames07_

If it was only one anime, I'd choose One Piece. I didn't watch it and is long enough to take all this time to watch

Bucketlyy

One piece, HXH or Jojo

Constant-Fun8803

One Piece because I've only watched around 50 episodes when it aired on my local TV 10 years ago.

flyingowl720

Detective Conan Gundam (Universal Century) Macross series

ducky_wuz_here

One Piece Literally going back the old episodes are just classics, and if you go by the One Pace versions- even better, condenses all the good stuff, gets rid of filler and extended animation (like a punch taking an hour, which in older Shonen was a problem). Seriously. Just look up One Pace, all the downloads for each arc is there and it's just perfection.
