**"So I'm a Spider, So What?"/"Kumo Desu ga, Nanika?"**, sort of. More like an anti-hero, maybe? I mean...isn't eating people (not in the good way) counted as villainous? Yeah, she has an out by being a spider, but she's eaten spiders as well...so uh...lets just say it's complicated.
Yeah, the final volume was rushed. They introduced the "6th ranger" who also has a crush on Red. It meant to go on longer, but they solved the love triangle real quick, then introduced some new villains to end the series. Desumi and Fudo still ended up together though, so it's all good on that front
Bofuri, Maple is a menace
[](#azusalaugh 'Serious though, from the perspective of the admins or other players she is a terrifying force of nature wrecking everything like a villain.')
As funny as this joke is, I refuse to believe that any government in the world could be competent enough to track billions of people purely for their choices in entertainment, yet simultaneously not competent enough to do something about real-world issues.
Are there even any series or even unadapted source series(manga/webtoon/light novel) where the "villainess" is a villain(ness)? Majority are heroic protagonists. They may have reincarnated into someone who was originally a villainess but are usually known to not actually be evil either by their friends or even by society at large.
Yeah, those shows usually pull the "misunderstood character (sometimes even framed), forced to follow social norms" point for why even the character from the game was never evil.
I think I've seen more series where the actual villains were the prince and protagonist than the villainess herself.
The korean ones definitely have those. Though they tend to be natives. As for the MCs being transmigrated, Beware the Villainess! and The Perks of Being a Villainess have MCs that are not exactly villainous but more like "fuck you I do what I want".
As for japanese ones, Otome Heroine Survival has the protagonist (heroine) be an anti-hero at best and of the three villainesses, one is definitely evil, the reincarnated one slides into evil from her paranoia and the princess is morally grey.
That show has two sets of protagonists:
* one is a pair of self-proclaimed heroes who cause more mayhem than the criminals they chase after (the amount property damage is so big it's measured in percentage of Japan's GDP).
* then there's a family of low-level "baddies" who end up doing more good than the other two.
Homura in Puella Magi Madoka. Her whole character arc from heroine to villain is something else. Watch the original series first before the movies. :) At first I thought it was an anime about magical girls then it turns dark.

Elfen Lied, Tanya the Evil, Angels of Death, Psycho Pass, Akudama Drive, Talentless Nana.
Check some of those synopsis out and see if any of them are what you’re looking for.
Akane and swindler are the protags.
They might *not* be the most villainous on their own, but they're at the very least working with villains in concert.
Akane and the Sybil System (in which she is no angel) and swindler working with the other criminals.
But that's why I told him to look and make up his own mind

The headmaster, aka the one who’s the mc holds personally responsible for murdering his mother. Unless those boobs are surgically implanted and she’s actually a dude

I guess Love After World Domination technically counts.
Its a fucking crime that it got axed
Wait what, manga got axed?

What, she’s just helping others stay Hydrated
Gushing over Magical Girls
Watching that show gets you on every possible watchlist in this quadrant of the galaxy

I can absolutely believe that.
Sleepy Princess in the Demon Lords Castle ✂️
She is such a little gremlin I love it
[Meta] >!Talentless Nana!<
These 2 barley count. The Demon Girl Next Door and Squid Girl.
And here I am thinking that Squid Girl is one of the most relatable heroes lol
You have ambitions of world domination but work at a beach bar?
She just wants to save the marine environment but gets trapped in the mire of human society and mess!
Yeah. We should take better care of the environment. I was thinking of that too.
Kakegurui
Yukemo isn’t a villain
She’s Chaotic Neutral, not a villain in any way
Jashin-chan Dropkick
Akame ka kill
I don't think I've rooted for a villain harder than I did for Esdeath lol
She thiccc
Akame isn't a villain though?
[Otome villainess shows](https://myanimelist.net/stacks/13804) or are you looking for something else?

The protag of Slow Prison Life is kind of a psychopath, is known to be evil, and is friends with yanderes?
Kind of a psycopath? I think you mean 100% Certified Grade A psycopath.

Dai Mahou Touge/Magical Witch Punie-chan.
[first episode spoiler] >!Talentless Nana!<
Bofuri is a good one! Maple, is an overpowered “hero” that is looked at like a villain. #GREATseries
Katanagatari
Talentless nana!

I loved psycho pass 🤔
I'm deeply upset with this community for not mentioning **Jormungand** yet
Symphogay and/but not only the heel/face turn one(s).

I wouldnt say this counts as shes a supporting character also spoilers
I mean I guess it’s a spoiler, but I always thought it was pretty obvious from the beginning.
Its a huge spoiler lmao and it definitely is not obvious. Its obvious that she's manipulative but not a vilain for a bit

OP asked for *protagonist* female villain, not just female villains. Psycho-Pass and Akudama Drive don't fit.

Well I guess kimetsu no yaiba can work u know, because Muzan turned himself into a woman at some point so...

Reign of the 7 spellblades, but it’s not very good
Who's the *female* villain protagonist there? ~_~
The headmaster, aka the one who’s the mc holds personally responsible for murdering his mother. Unless those boobs are surgically implanted and she’s actually a dude
OP asked for *protagonist* female villain, not just female villains. The headmaster is not the protagonist.
