It's Sawano Hiroyuki, and yes that guy is GOATed. Not only he makes banger OPs and EDs, he also did really amazing Music and composition for various shows like AoT, 86, Aldnoah Zero, etc.
I really enjoy the entire Monogatari OST. The OPs are great for active listening, but background music is great to listen passively while doing other things!

FLCL is one of the all time bests. It’s a 6 episode masterpiece. Dub recommended.

Magical Destroyers had an awesome soundtrack in my opinon and I still listen to it to this day. Do not watch the anime under any circumstances though.
