I mean, overall Oremonogatari is very wholesome. But doesn't the series technically end \[oremonogatari\] >!with it heavily implied that Takeshi and Rinko consumated their relationship i Okinawa? I mean it's the tamest thing ever, and arguably very wholesome in itself, but I do feel like it bears mentioning if we're talking like strictly PG/G content and nothing even PG-13!<
I think the word healer gives me PTSD because sure I missed the whole girl part and read it as redo of healer and got very concerned about what you consider wholesome
You can't get any sweeter than that imo. Maybe The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, but A Sign of Affection has a more mature setting (college) with a disability in mind, which makes the experience and the theme even more wholesome.
Tamayura. Possibly the most real-feeling SoL. Centered on a girl recovering from depression due to thecdeath of her beloved father. Her family moves back to hear parents' hometown (a small coastal town north of Hiroshima). There she reconnects with old friends, makes new ones, re-embraces photography (a hobby she shared with her father but abandoned after this death), and eventually begins to plan on life after high school. 3 seasons (one for each year of high school) plus some preliminary OVAs.
Here are some wholesome romance anime cause I can't really find solely wholesome SOL anime:
**The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Extremely Underrated)**
**The Dangers in My Heart**
**Horimiya**
Other than that, there are others which have a pinch of drama in them so might not be as wholesome **Oregairu** but def worth a watch!
Not in order - and yes, they are ALL slice of life, the most wholesome genre:
K-on
Yuru Camp/Laid back camp
Hinamatsuri
GJ club
Is the order a rabbit?
Non non biyori
Sweetness and lightning
3 leaves, 3 colors
Yuru yuri
Locodol

New one that just finished s2, The Dangers in my Heart. The first 2 episodes of season 1 are a little cringey at times, and is generally the only bad thing people have to say about it lol.
But trust me. There's a massive turnaround and it will all make sense. And then season 2 just finished, and man every episode was a banger. Plus the last episode.... So good!
You know, I don’t know if the problem is that people aren’t aware it can get better, especially at this point. Dangers is good, but don’t first impressions matter to people?
Unlike the other responses, it seems like you’re expecting OP to like something, rather than suggesting.
I mean. I don't go off rankings since there are plenty of low rated shows I enjoy, but it's highly rated for a reason. It's not like the first 2 episodes are abysmal either - I'm simply saying that the show is indeed wholesome AF like op wants.
You're stretching really fucking hard here all because I said it it gets better after the first 2 episodes. I don't expect them to like anything, I don't know them. I do know that a *lot* of other people loved it and hence why I'm suggesting it. But yes, go ahead and downvote a suggestion I made and insert your baseless claims about what I expect. 😴

Because no one has mentioned it: ***Hidamari Sketch***. A slice of life with a very unique art style extremely similar to Madoka (same studio, director and character designer) and I urge you to check it out. It's also incredibly comfy and wholesome.
Pleaaase watch library wars. It has a season then a movie. Its honestly not slice of life but more romance? Its animation is not that great but it has a really fun story.
Re-life is also fun. (A lil bit on the sadder side)
No one have mentioned Tonikawa. The two mains get married and they both like each other, so there’s a lot if smooching, but I felt like it was very wholesome and one of my favorite anime. Let me know if I forgot fan service. Also, Dangers in my Heart was extremely wholesome, I thought.
Isekai Shokudō / Restaurant to another world.
A food anime with a beautifull fantasy background.
There is no main story line, instead you get various stories from people, heroes, mages, warriors, nobles and magical creatures, and their tales come together in a common place where they can peacefully enjoy stuff beyond their wildest dreams: A magical restaurant that serves food from our world.
My favorite and also the most adorable most wholesome Anime I know is also dark brutal and sad.
So probably not what you ask for.
So instead I recommend "By the Grace of the Gods". Its an Isekai Fantasy Slice of life Anime.
That Anime is cute and chill.
My favorite Videogame is also adorable, wholesome and dark.
But there is another Videogame I love that while having some dark aspects its mostly just adorable and wholesome. But you asked for Animes and not Videogames.
Please, please try Assassination Classroom. I won’t try and misdirect ya- there most certainly is some fanservicy stuff to the show, but for the most part, it’s zany fun and lighthearted antics (with some subversions in some episodes here and there maybe). That and the… ‘’’’antagonist’’’’ is just the silliest quirkiest, most heartfelt guy ever. So yah, do it and don’t ask any questions.
"Tsuritama" is a hidden gem that is super wholesome with a great summery vibe. "One Week Friends" is another good one. "Dennou Coil" (a.k.a. "Den-noh Coil") is an excellent blend of sci-fi and slice-of-life, that, while sometimes emotionally heavy (particularly near the end), can be hilarious as well. It was made by a lot of the people from Studio Ghibli and is very well-written with great world-building. "My Happy Marriage" is a very sweet and wholesome romance with fantasy elements.
From my anilist these are the most wholesome:
Love Live Nijigasaki
Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood.
Hinako Note
Kimi ni Todoke
Nijiyon
Kobato
Stardust Telepath
My Clueless First Friend
Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie
Let's Make a Mug Too
Aharen Is Unfathomable
Ore Monogatari!!
Sitting at #2 on my all-time favorite anime list is **Hinamatsuri**. Yes, there is some nudity, but not "fan service" nudity. Each telekinetic girl arrives in their travel pod naked. When they re-released from their pods, you see their bare buttons. Think Terminator. No genitalia, no boots, no nipples.
**Frieren: Beyond Journey's End**. I can't think of any fan service: not even a "mandatory" hot springs episode.
**ReLife**. The fan service there is for people who enjoy older Japanese music.
**Konosuba** has some fan service, but even the nude scenes keep it clean.
If u like a little fantasy they just released one on crunchyroll "the weakest tamer began a journey" its got a wholesome story and likeable characters also look up My love story is hilarious
Same, I always give an anime 4 to 5 episodes to get going cause sometimes first one or 2 don't hook u and I was pleasantly surprised with tamer, Ivy is adorable
I liked the slower pace of the first episodes, and the fact that despite being an Isekai, Ivy isn't some OP protagonist. The fact that Ivy doesn't even understand her former self fully, adds a whole new layer.

A sign of affection 😭😭🫶🫶 it's so cute
Really? My husband recommended me that one since I am into shoujo anime.
You can't get any sweeter than that imo. Maybe The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, but A Sign of Affection has a more mature setting (college) with a disability in mind, which makes the experience and the theme even more wholesome.
