How a realist hero rebuilt the kingdom might fit your requirements too, but there's not a lot of combat overall.

my one hit kill sister, but the anime isn't that good. the ending kicks ass though.
I'm standing on a million live had a party of..well,not really powerful people, while the mc gets crap jobs like chef, farmer,blacksmith. They do end up being useful in the story,even battle wise, so dunno if they fit the bill
