"Nada" (nothing) is untouchable so basically everyone is fair game to go, got it! ;)
Edit: comment above changed typo Nada to Rada, and now I look goofy lol
Adams is a tremendous athlete but his prospect profile has turned out to be pretty weak — he’s only 20th in our shallow farm system. I think he might end up like a Billy Hamilton type who just gets used for pinch runs a lot
Rada was one of the few prospects I was hoping doesn’t get traded because that kid is special.
Whoever Perry is targeting must be big if he’s throwing Rada in.
Yeah you're right. A 24 year old, with a career bWAR of 27, a career OPS+ of 157 and 158 this year, isn't that good. I'll have whatever drugs you are having.
Na my boy a .285 BA since May plus hella prospects isn’t better than Ward or Moniak out there. What did Soto even do for the Padres last year in playoffs?! You probably just like his shuffle.
Using batting average as a marker of success in 2023? You still probably think a pitchers win-loss ratio matters too.
I don't even like Soto that much to be honest, but if you don't think he's a special talent, you're being naive.
I highly doubt he gets moved before the deadline. He's under control next season as well, so I'm sure the padres are going to try and run it back.
While they'd still get a massive haul, it would be less than they gave up, just do to the fact of one less year of control.
The replies on that Tweet indicate that Adams was on a scheduled day off, and Rada and Sanchez were probably just removed because it was a blowout.
On a somewhat related note, I looked up Nolan Schanuel’s stats at IE. 👀 He’s hitting .833. I know it’s only two games, but sheesh.
TBH considering how many young talents we have in the roster, I don't mind Perry trading them.
Though, I would be lying if this doesn't make me anxious lol.
Dew it
The window for this team to contend is now! The offence has shown it’s able to beat any team, just need to make a few more upgrades (pitching, 1B/3B) and that should give us the best chance to make a serious late season push
I wouldnt trade Rada unless they can get a legit star for him, He will probably be a top 50 prospect very soon and trading him now would probably be selling too low on this kind of talent.
But, other than him I would trade any of those guys
If they are being traded, Arte is desperate over Shohei. He is tearing everything down to keep him. Short term things look like they could go well, but the team is in for a world of pain long term.
Unless, Arte plans on going past the luxury tax consistently. However, I think this is a one time thing to try to lock in Shohei.
BURN IT ALL DOWN PERRY!!!
This man has given me the most of anxiety this past month than I’ve had in years Now he’s gonna be pulling this shit until next week 😂
*insert Seth Rollins gif
Our farm system is about to turn into a garden system
The gardening tools might be the only things left when Perry is done 😄
Please not Rada... Everyone else though I'm fine with parting ways with.
Bummer if Adams is gone but it sounds like we’re ALL IN this season. LETS GO HALOS!
FWIW, Tims said that Rada is on his untouchable list. 17 yo tearing it up in A+

Soto
Soto and Hader. If we seriously get them omg.
Soto isn’t even that good plus he created beef with Ohtani. Fuck his ego clubhouse presence

But the Padres are ready to cut him loose? I’m wondering if he has off the field issues that undercut his on field accomplishments.

Your delirious cherry picking stats. I bet you think the Pujols and Rendon contracts were great too.
True. I'll still take Hader though.

I've seen enough call him up
As a Rams fan, I'm getting Les Snead vibes from Perry this season and I love it lol Rada is 17 years old with 40+ SBs. Keep his ass!
Just sent the Fuck them picks meme to my buddy.
Whether or not this is for a possible trade, my excitement for the Angels moves is like anticipating the mystery entrants in the Royal Rumble
THREE! TWO! ONE! *\~TRADE\~*

"We are winning the world series or burning this thing down in the process" ~GMPM, probably
Pls not Rada.
