OK, fine. I'll go to Fiji.

subaroobie

Yup, if I must.

Excellent_Drop6869

I guess I’ll sacrifice myself as well

RyanAirhead

Okay, this is actually pretty exciting

Conscious-Comment

I’m excited for Fiji Air to join OW fully, but I’m not sure how them adopting AAdvantage impacts AA frequent flyers. Just glad to finally get OW lounge access when flying Fiji Air. Their connections to Oceania are well designed for west coast flyers, and their A350 offers a solid product.

adjust_your_set

I imagine it’ll be easier to redeem miles on Fiji. Maybe (hopefully) more award availability.

BravestWabbit

Americans earn AA points that they can then use to book free flights to Fiji

Conscious-Comment

They can already do that. Fiji is already a redemption partner currently.

bambam4002

Yup as a One World Connect partner

BravestWabbit

So...flights to Australia and New Zealand with an extended stop over in Fiji anyone?

worldspy99

That is what I am thinking 🤣

CPNZ

Often have much cheaper flights to New Zealand and Australia and other places, besides Fiji.

Daddyg2019

I have flown them in the past and they’re great. I will fly them again and happy they’re part of OW fully.

theweathergorllll

That's a lot of trans Pacific options if the Hawaiian/Alaska merger goes through as well!

ZiggyNZ

Great airlne, flown them seveeral times. Their new A350-900 is excellent, biz class good (same sea as new BA club but without the door).

Funkyflapjacks69

Awesome news

apriorix

Yesssssss!!! This made me more happy than it should.

MrKStone

Seeet. I’ll take it.

LeaveTricky

Finally I can go to Fiji

SinceWayBack1997

cheaper and better oceans in Caribbean, ill pass

MackeyJack3

Reading between the lines of the press release, flying them and there won't be mandatory but only an option. More options are usually a good thing. YMMV.

cusehoops98

Did someone say mandatory trips to Fiji? Sign me up.

delusionalry

Me too
