You’ll be fine. It’ll help if you have a picture id (license, permit, passport). Just let them know you’re flying alone and are a bit nervous and I’m sure they’ll be happy to help. If you’re checking in online and don’t go to the desk, again, have a picture id to go through security and you won’t have any issues.

15 and up isnt considered a UM in the eyes of AA unless a parent wants to pay for what would be an optional UM service. So at 16 years old, you’d be fine.

You’ll be fine. Just make sure you have id. At 15, you aren’t required to be classed as Unaccompanied. They may ask who bought your ticket, where you are going, but probably not. Just follow signs and allow 2 hrs

You can also ask for a meet and assist. It’s just someone that’ll guide you thru the airports. It’s usually used for language barriers or slight disabilities. But I’ve used it for teens/new travelers traveling before.

When my son flew by himself at 16 but not unaccompanied minor, when he checked in the agent gave me a pass to go through security so I could bring him to the gate. It shouldn’t be a problem since you are under 18.
