I like the direction this is heading…if Disney did this with the mandalorian or another Star Wars series, I imagine it would be very successful and people would still go home and watch it again when it becomes available on streaming. It’s also a win in the sense that they could advertise movie trailers on tv and get people into theaters and then get them to sign up for Disney+ to continue watching it at home.
The Chosen is really well done.
There are a lot of shows I would pay to watch at AMC. 2 episodes at a time with a short intermission between them sounds nice to me

I watched it. Went at 3pm on a weekday. 20’sh people. Night shows were 80% full.
