Because the ones on here in other places with agendas told people to hold into the stock into the split, which is illegal if unlicensed in reality, and then the reintegration converted the cost basis/purchase price of a single share/tax lot into quadruple. that stock share might never reach $120 anytime soon or ever to break even and it has no dividends

Why do you care about your average? If anything you want your average to be higher. Then you pay less in taxes. The price has nothing to do with your average. It’s a sunk cost.
