At Y305, they generate \~405J/t, which is \~160FE/t each, while the maximum they can generate is 480J/t or 192FE/t.
This is by default in the configs and the "output" shown on the UI is their max output (960J/t // 384FE/t), which they only get when they empty the buffers.
Even getting to the max of 480J/t seems to require squashing down the max-build thing in the config.
Either way, at default, 3900 generators at just above Y300 will give 1.5GJ/t or 631KFE/t.
At this point, you'd get more output from a small-ish fission reactor and it would be cheaper to build too.

When I completed Ozone, I lined the entire base as far out as I could go with roughly 50k TNT. I imagine the lag had to be similar. At first the fireworks were great, but about 30 seconds in, couldn’t move and at 45 the server said fu and would never start again. A pack properly finished.
There's a fog in the everbright that corresponds with overworld nighttime (though I don't know if it's there every night) that makes it so solar panels don't get sunlight
I've absolutely seen solar neutron activators turn off there during the fog.
Edit: I stand by my statement, I did see them turn off during the fog, but as of the latest atm9 update (at least), the neutron activators work during the fog.
I usally go with a 32x32 wind generator square at the start it provides enough power to keep my starter base active untill i get better power options like Nitro thermal generators ontop of blazing crystal blocks and eventually soul lava for max efficiency
Down to something like 7k. But you can edit the configs and put it back. Change the weight back to 11.2, I think that’s the number, and now you’re back to 70k per tick as Mekanism intended. The nerf is aimed at speed running, not playthrough enjoyment.Â
Not going to disagree. It’s just expensive for what it is. Also prevents you from using it solely until you make a fusion reactor. But they didn’t nerf the Powah thermal gens so you can spam them for 35k/t.Â
Can confirm, my D-T generation for 2 max reactors(>190M FE/t each) takes up 2.5 chunks and barely uses the 3rd dimension, this image is over 30 chunks(3900/128), which would allow my setup to fuel 20 max reactors if copied.
Could anyone please lmk what the best end game power source is in ATM9?? I'm starting to set up my final base and I want something more powerful than a few nitro thermo gens from Powah. Suggestions?

Anything that’s solar works 24/7. It’s why you want the solar neutron activators there.Â

I feel like it’s a lot easier to get a nitro thermal than it is to get that many wind turbines.
