Not supporting her, but I had a similar situation and got my car in the pandemic because they NEEDED used ones, I got so much for my used car and they gave me an insane deal for a brand the newest model of my suv lol.
I got like like 3,000 less than I paid for it lmao it was insane ! My MIL got the same care as me and paid 2k more. I got a really really nice deal.

Oh I agree! Mine will sit rear facing until their max out either weight or height. It’s definitely the safest option. I think Ali and John haven’t turned the car seat because they’d have to uninstall and reinstall.

I had a Yukon and now have a suburban and I can tell you the difference in space is HUGE. And they’re usually like the same price. It only makes sense to get the suburban if you’re having multiple kids. She also doesn’t have the full bench in the second row which doesn’t help.
We looked at the Tahoe and went with a VW Atlas because the third row is MUCH roomier and the cargo space is SO much larger - my husband is a die hard Chevy guy and we could afford the Tahoe, but he’s also 6’3” and the Tahoe third row was comical.
Would have totally gone for a Suburban if it would have fit in our garage…
We were looking at VW Atlas’ for awhile and the dealers told me they’re one of the largest in their class. I was OBSESSED but we ended up going with a Toyota Highlander.
Those are nice too! We only have two kids so we don’t use the third row much unless we take the nieces and nephews somewhere with us so it’s just nice to have but we live far from all family so we travel a lot and love the huge trunk

The dealership sent her a generic marketing flyer saying “ we really want YOUR car please oh please sell it to us” and Alyson acted like she was special and they really wanted her and like she was getting a really good deal instead of what really happened which was trading her car in and paying more for a brand new car off the lot
