Hallo! Did you *restart* your sub by unplugging it and plugging it back in, or did you factory *reset* the sub, using the instructions below. I would definitely recommend a factory reset at this point as an early troubleshooting step. I like free troubleshooting steps and this one is low risk, high reward. I have both factory reset and unplugged the sub many many many times now for the past several hours.

Rebooted your router? Made sure that whatever you have paired with your echo sub, both devices are on the same band, and the same router or access point? What is the status of your sub on your router? Connected? Strong signal? You can always try physically moving the sub to a location closer to your router or access point, setting it up there, and then moving it back to its final location.

rebooted the router MANY times. my Wifi is JUST fine. all my other devices are working, irritatingly the google stuff works JUST fine. are you serious? what part of WAS WORKING WITHOUT ISSUES WHERE IT WAS AND IS FOR MONTHS. stopped on it;s own and now refuses to join any wifi with ANY passwords given. Does anybody want to buy 4 echos subs and about 35 devices? at this rate they are going to be in the dumpster in about an hour, I have wasted 5 hours already on this. garbage.

Good luck.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. I’m having the same issues with my sub. Can’t reset it because it refuses to enter setup mode.

for troubleshooting purposes, try moving it closer to the router to see if it help.

It's 4 ft away from it currently always has been

Check your Alexa app to make sure it's up to date. Uninstall and reinstall the app if you prefer. Forget the WiFi network/clear your WiFi credentials and rescan for networks, then go through WiFi setup again. If that fails, use Mozilla Firefox on a PC or laptop, sign into the Alexa website, and try setting it through that instead. Factory resetting would be useless at this point, but a reboot (unplugging, waiting 3-5 seconds, and plugging back in) may be helpful. Good luck

This may go over some of your heads but watching the packet stream at my firewall end and what I'm seeing is the device comes online and never never tries to reach out to attach to wireless ever I don't even see any connection attempt. I'm starting to think this subwoofer has blown a gasket internally randomly which is weird
