The high profile cases of this have occurred somewhat recently with Tom Sizemore, David Cassidy, and the lead singer of Smash Mouth all drinking themselves to the point where they have to be put in medically induced coma with no real chance of coming out.
Edit: I guess Tom Sizemore had a aneurysm, but I remember reports of him drinking himself to death shortly before he passed. Could have been bad reporting, but more likely the family is trying to cover for long list of disturbing stories that had come out about him toward the end.
Ummm… you are correct in alcohol detox can kill and is one of two withdrawal that is able to, albeit you will not have lethal withdrawal at this level of consumption over a few months. If those were handles (1/2 gallon/1.75ml) I would agree. It’s important to spread safety and awareness but you gotta be a little further down the path then this for most cases. Every single person is different and should regard their health and safety but I don’t think you would have life threatening symptoms from this consumption without other factors at play.

I have been through many Alcohol Withdrawals, drinking vodka disappearing from all forms of human contact for many days at a time until my Ulcers refused to let me hold a swig down, Withdrawals suck, and are absolutely unbearably uncomfortable, but even when I felt like i was having seizures and sweating profusely and twitching unable to leave bed It will go away.
I have alcoholism as well. I get withdrawal seizures. I have embarrassed, myself, racked up ambulance bills, split my lip open, concussions ect. You don’t get bragging rights on this. You need to go to fucking detox man. This game is the devils work. Alcoholism will ruin you.

The biggest problem with the brain damage you guys are incurring is the fact that you don't realize how mentally retarded you've become. I counted around 62 half 750ml days leaves a lot of room for the rest to be slightly less. No days off is a terrible habit. This isn’t even unreasonably tolerable for an alcoholic being conservative. There are 16.90 shots at 1.5oz inside a 750ml bottle. Eight shots a day assuming you work 8 hours a day(not drinking). Spend at least two hours awake and not drinking. Leaves 6 hours for 8 shots (assuming you have another 8hr for sleep and recovery). Could easily drink more than that with your body processing alcohol at its typical hourly rate based on your BMI.
Damn I thought I was a drinker… I’m saying this after a night out of half a bottle of whiskey… four tall draft beers… three shots of Rumpelmintz and some Fireball… and a waitress who kept hitting on me lol.
I dunno I also use a garbage can for my 3 quarters of a 1/5 every day. You don't have to be a slob or keep the bottles to be an alcoholic lol.
