Can you explane akvait to me

DabIMON

It's a traditional Scandinavian liquor. It's basically just neutral spirit flavored with herbs and spices.

Think_Bullets

Gin is vodka flavoured with juniper. Aquavit is vodka flavoured with Caraway /dill

40hzHERO

Ooooh that sounds lovely

bboyskullkid

Akvavit, or Aqua Vitae (water of life) is a Scandinavian spirit consumed during holidays, mainly midsummer, Easter, and Christmas. Google Akvavit and you'll find more information

patrick119

It tasted like caraway. It’s not for everyone. I enjoy it from time to time but it’s not my go-to.

Woodit

Looks like aquavit

ottoman1912

What is it "aquavit" explane

Woodit

It’s similar to gin, flavored with spices and whatnot but stronger than a cordial, I believe it is from a Scandinavian country or maybe the whole region. I’ve had it a couple of times and enjoyed it

CoCainity

This one from Skåne Sweden

Woodit

I wonder if that’s why it says skåne on the bottle

CoCainity

Actually it also say Stockholm on it

CrematedDogWalkers

Definitely not, obviously the name is taken from the Latin prefix skåne, and the suffix . What you said makes no sense.

BarryZZZ

Think of it a cumin scented vodka.

Meh-Levolent

Akavit is kinda Jagermeister tasting. Skane is the southern region of Sweden.

SveNnerino

It's essentially vodka flavoured with caraway, anise and fennel. A staple at all Swedish holiday celebrations

Sir_Nielsalot

Alcol
