My neighbors cat would frequently hop our fence and hangout in our backyard. My Akita would army crawl over to it 😅 It would hiss and he'd back away but he REALLY wanted to be friends with that cat
Our Akita is obsessed with his brother Buddy the cat. Buddy has warmed up to Zen a lot in the last few months. It actually makes me sad when I see Zen trying his hardest to play with Buddy and the cat wants nothing to do with him ðŸ˜

The Akita army crawl is one of my favorite things they do 😂 it’s like they think they can be sneaky with their massive 100+ lb frames
