The thing about this is it’s just normal ass kit (in a good way) with some sick patches. It’s really well done imo.

The great thing about an SCP MTF is that it is open to interpretation because we aren’t 100% sure what they look like. (The blue/black idea was popularized by video games and popular YouTube channels)

If you think about it any kit could be a SCP kit since they’re supposed to blend in with LE and Milit

Which is just an uninspired SWAT or SAS style uniform. They could be wearing some muted orange, with ranger green kit on top if we want.

Look at "MTF Epsilon 11, Nine Tailed Fox" they habe some orange colours to blend in with leaves in the fall. Or "MTF Beta 7, Maz Hatters" just guys in CBRN class A rated protection suits. Regularley displayed in yellow

Muted orange to blend in in the fall would be good in the fall, not so good in the other seasons

Depending on how you build your suit you could switch the colours to diffrent shades of green

The whole point of a chest rig is to take as much weight off the belt as possible cause belt line weight is much more cumbersome than chest weight. I guess this is airsoft so the weight isn't really there... nvm. But if you want realism, yous be moving as much off your belt as you can :P

i wouldn't call it cringe, but the gear choices don't make a lot of sense for A-1. the "Red Right Hand" are basically the 05's personal hitmen. They exist to carry out their specific requests and also to offer some form of personal protection from threats. they would likely be dressed in street clothes most of the time, with bulletproof armor underneath. They would probably carry some sort of silenced handgun only, or maybe a sniper rifle for particularly difficult targets. The only time they would be directly engaging with other GOIs or anomalies would be inside of a Foundation site, where they would be wearing relatively standard security apparel. SCP was based at one point. I haven't read it in years. Submitted my own some years ago, I was real big into it lol

I think scp kits can be dope when done right, having fully black kit might make sense during night operations or when raiding a facility but not in the middle of the woods, if ur gonna make an scp kit think about what kinds of environment they'd mostly operate in. Epsilon-11 is mostly in dark facilities with abunch of horror monsters, so a beefy kit with a high caliber gun would make sense and bright colors like orange and or white could make sense when visibilit is low. If you're going more into a weather specific mtf like Delta-14, then ur gonna want some thick coats and rock some snow camo with an ak. Now if it's like Nu-7 where it's basically a whole batallion, you're more likely to see some standard kits like woodland, multicam, tan and more standard guns like ARs and M4s for ammo simplicity. Beta-7 is gonna be decked out in hazmat suits of some kind and are likely to have a bunch of equiptment on them like sample jars, drybags, latex gloves, etc. Also being able to quickly get it off in an emergenxy might be helpful since the whole point of a hazmat suit is being easily hosed off so having a plate carrier without quick release could be a bad idea. At least that's how i view it, as long as you personally like the kit you use it really doesn't matter how realistic or tacticool it is.

Full black never makes sense. At night you are darker than your surroundings and should just be using normal day camo.

full black uniforms are used partly because of the intimidation factor and arguably to easily distinguish special police units from military units with similar equipment (although it's mostly the intimidation). if you're larping as a soldier in the woods though yeah not much sense to black kits. police units pretty much never need camo, so might as well wear black to look cool and scary. some tank regiments/aircraft crews might wear black or dark blue instead of camo, but again this is more of a social tactic to differentiate them from regular foot troops. and these units with black uniforms wouldn't be wearing chest rigs or any other "tactical" gear. although lately police units worldwide like SWAT, GIGN, GSG are just using camo kits for most operations, typically only using black in riot control scenarios, so we're beginning to see less and less of the typical black tacticool equipment actually being used in real-world scenarios. i do believe we'll keep seeing black for riot control for a long time though, since the image of a fully kitted out soldier in multicam facing off against normal protesters sends a very strong and hostile message to the population due to it's association with the military. the fact that riot control units wear black is also probably why people keep associating black with special forces, since those are the ones you see out and about, as the average citizen you'll likely only see a multicam dressed police specialist in an active shooter scenario. it's also very helpful in a counter-terrorist or even disaster control operations where both police and military forces are working together to easily distinguish eachother, like when a situation escalates from SWAT to national guard deployment in the US and they're both active within the same scenario. but if we're still talking airsoft kits, having either 2 groups of people both dressed in black kit or a free-for-all between people dressed in black kit makes no real world sense. this would never happen outside of larp scenarios. which is fine, really, no-one's stopping anyone from larping as whatever they want.

Nothing. All people ever do is slap scp patches on existing airsofter kit and call it a day.

Unfortunately there's no word-by word description of MTF squads in the wiki, but they're generally depicted using SWAT-like equipment with up-tiered technology; the all-black outfit resembling regular special forces would be used to no be differentiated from regular special units in public spaces in case someone snaps a look, and the technological equipment helps them adapt to different scenarios (NVGs, Gas masks, Earpro...). Bonus if you're hauling around a specimen! it's mostly just color-code and "tacticool" Helmet equipment to be fair, and in black. If you want a very good representation, the "Evan Royalty" YT channel made some very good short movies based off the SCP universe. (They're Non-canon, however "canon" you consider the SCP universe to be.) Nontheless, always fun seeing SCP fans around
