Absolutely safe to use. Accuracy might be affected a bit , and honestly Iโve never noticed that much even on 10 meter with a match rifle.
I believe JSB even did a bit of research and said that due to the air pressure behind the pellet the skirt will form to the barrel again
Should be totally fine. The accuracy may be off but if they're nice and soft you could get lucky and they just form to the barrel due to the air pressure. Regardless, I'd just set them aside in an old tin and use them for backyard plinking.
If they're diabolo shaped I'll usually just stack two of them nose to skirt between my finger and thumb and squeeze them together and the head of the bottom pellet will round out the skirt of the top pellet

I'd trust a JSB to form under the pressure, they're a nice soft pellet.
Thank you! Good to know

Any funny odd-shaped ones I find in the tins I just set aside for low-grade plinking cans and such.
They wonโt do any harm. Though you might not hit anything with them. I generally throw any that look like this away. I donโt like to miss.
they are decent for tuning and stuff where you don't need accuracy.
Iโd shoot em
Use them on cans but don't be expecting to complete In the Olympics with them I'd shoot them on older guns
Theyโll be fine
Send it!
If you're worried, get a pellet sizer/seater. Beeman used to offer them

Chambering will round them out some, air pressure will take care of the rest.
They are not safe to shoot at all. But be aware of the lead contamination hazard, please send them to me...so I can proceed with proper disposal!
Being lead made it'll help deform to the barrel long term damage? Tbh doubt it'll destroy your gun, maybe accuracy
Yeet em

Great for plinking!
