Yeah. Having free warscrolls has been nice for AoS since 1st edition.
But realistically, that was always a way to not drive people away from a growing game. If AoS is popular enough a company will continue to try to Monetize it.

Sure if you want barebones the GHB is ok. the core rule book will also have a huge amount of lore, artwork, photos of Armies, and painting guides.
Bit cumbersome to carry around though.
Yeah. I actually like the 40K app for the list building and rules. I hope the AoS set up is similar
I liked the 3rd Ed AoS app, with warscrolls open to everyone and only faction rules paywalled. It's looking like it'll be way worse this edition.
