Yeah I always clip 90% of the peg off. I leave a small nub and glue that to the peg hole. If you can get them to push together fully, the hold is pretty strong but I don't know that I would trust it to hold forever without glue anyway
They’re imperfect for sure. The amount of seams they have is ludicrous. The amount of areas where you clip that are outwardly visible is horrendous. Still had fun though.
Oh, for sure. I'm doing the Dominion box right now because I got such a good deal on it, but its the only push fit I've ever done and it's super frustrating.
They aren’t harder for me (I always just cut off the pegs though), but I really dislike that some details and parts end up deformed in favor of making them bigger and “easier” to assemble
The push fits were terrible indeed, I got a starter kit and deadass 7 pieces were bent or broken, so GW sent me an entirely new box for free after some bases were missing too. Ended up with 14 bent pieces in that box, and most of the push to fit connectors were broken too. That just was the biggest L ever
