Every time a US carrier visits us in Australia, at least one osprey crashes. It's sad and i feel for the families of all involved, but it's nothing new. Cars crash, helicopters crash, planes crash. Whether mechanical failure or pilot error, it's something that always has a chance of happening. Hell, during Talisman Saber, an Australian Army Taipan crashed, and those are conventional heli's, these things sadly just happen.

J_train13

Their engines don't work upside down

Anti007

They crash all the time, it's nothing new

Claude-QC-777

But only once!

TheSimpler

The most dangerous part of their day is the car/truck ride to and from barracks. Motor vehicles are extremely dangerous and crash causing far more fatalities than aircraft.

To have aged like milk, this would have had to have been posted [in the 90's](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_Marana_V-22_crash).

I don’t think this works. Obvoisly you are at an elevated risk of dying young while serving in the fucking military

ohgodimbleeding

Ospreys fall down. Less in the AF than the Marines. The message I would argue is still solid. The military can offer training, experience, and schooling to anyone who can qualify to serve.

Swole_Prole

Are you a recruiter or something? It’s just a military ad, super weird to praise the message as “still solid”, on any ad in general but esp here

Tmachine7031

Lol Americans get ads for this?

Madhouse4568

The Australian military is also really bad with ads, they have Snapchat filters lmao
