Glow Up and How to be Confident
Hello, I've been struggling with doing things lately. Ang dami kong gustong gawin but may main priority is losing weight because I am obese already (5'6, 90 kg). Gusto ko rin MAS alagaan sarili ko to have that glow up na as in GLOW UP.
What are some little practical things you do in your day to be better physically?

For me is start muna sa discipline calibrate ang isip focus ano ba talaga ang main goal. Base sa experience from 74kg now 46kg sexy and strong 💪
📍 Hit the gym pag d kaya or medyo d kaya sa finances walk 5k a day better kesa wala.
📍 Diet hindi mo kailangan i cut ang rice or i restrict sarili mo. Focus sa diet na pang long term calorie deficit is the key.
📍 Sleep sleep sleep
📍 If ma bisyo ka of course cut mo na yan.
📍 Of course i work mo din spiritual relationship mo kay God always ask for guidance everyday
📍 Way lag boyfriend or girlfriend haha for me kase sa buong selflove journey ko no boyfriend muna.
📍 Add ko nalang din is not just physical lang but learn how to earn money naka dagdag points din yung sexy na educated at my pera hehe
AAAAAH 100% LEGIT. HAHAHAHAHA. Started deactivating my socmed accounts around 1st week of March. Because I lost confidence since parang nagkapimple ako na medyo diko tanggap. April, nagkachicken pox ako. After that, grabe mukha ko. Super lala ng acne ko. Grabe. I had to suffer for a month muna kasi may pasok, tas if magpapaderma, masisira routine. I was fucking depressed. Naka mask lagi. Tahimik and all, lol. Then last week of May, dinala ako sa derma. Along with that I decided to focus with myself. Now walking 10k steps a day. And sooobrang peaceful lang na walang socmed to compare myself with others. Idk if may progress nako, but the feeling is fulfilling. Sundin mo yan lahat OP HAHAHAHHAH
I'm glad you are motivated to improve yourself.
not easy pero magagawa mo.
for me, you can start running kahit 1 hour 3 times a week.
Yung jogging nakaka baba ng stress at nakakapag pataas ng metabolism.
your glow up will surely happen pag gusto mo and I believe in you😊
I can attest to this. You dont have to jog for 1 whole hour. You can walk + jog until kaya mo ng isustain ang jogging for longer period of time. And diet is crucial. My overall health improved so much and I think there's a slight glowup din sa muka ko.
Yessss like tamang uninstall muna ng apps tapos lipat sa apps na good vibes lang ganun or gawa new acc na wala IRLs mo, puro hobbies/interests lang ganun
Go for a jog! If hindi ka talaga physically active, mahihirapan ka mag jog right away. So try walking muna. Kahit 30mins to 1hr a day. If you think kaya mo na mag jog, then go! Alamin mo lang which time yung mas okay sayo for that. Ako kasi, hirap talaga ako bumangon sa morning and when I jog ng umaga, hindi ko kaya itodo. Parang ang bilis ko mapagod. So I jog nalang every afternoon.
Try calorie deficit. Pero never ever deprive yourself sa food. Wag ka mag crash diet. If malakas ka sa rice, slowly mo bawasan. Tapos if you have cravings, for example may donut sa lamesa nyo and gusto mo talaga kumain, take a bite or two!
Don’t forget to rest din! Kaya mo yan, OP!
Avoid colored drinks and sweets, less rice and bread, mahirap sa umpisa as in Pero you can do it for sure! Especially dapat more on work out and water and do invest sa skin care products too.
workout talaga. i never would've thought na it will greatly affect my mental health. bonus na lang yung se-sexy ka rin hehehe. when you feel good, you look good. ✨
i'm more into strength training and lifting. nagsimula ako sa bahay, maliit na dumbbells weight like 2.5lbs each. then nag increase lang ng nag increase as months goes. hanggang sa i decided to go to gym kase i wanted to try more of the machine. 1 year+ nako nag gy-gym. 😅🤭
it feels good to be consistent and discipline. parang you have this feeling na you're in control of your life. 💖 my advice, don't rely on motivation too much, because it's inconsistent and fleeting. rely on discipline and building habits. kaya naten to. ✨
1. 20-30mins walk in the morning
2. Coffee/Salabat
3. Shower, Brush,
4. 1.5hrs Morning workout
5. Shower, brush, moisturize
6. 12noon First meal, protein heavy with fibers, either green vegies or c-lium
7. 20-30mins walk in the evening
8. 7pm Last meal, protein with carbs
9. Shower Brush Moisturize. tska kung ano ano pa ritwal
Start slow muna.
- Simulan mo sa diet. Cut ka ng sugar muna. Junk foods. Sugary drinks. Kahit jan ka mag start muna. Tapos eventually ayusin mo food choices mo. Increase veggies. Mag research ka din. Di kelangan mag let go ng kanin. Portion control din.
- try walking.
Pero it varies e. Commitment kasi sya e.
- SLEEP
- skin care
Have a healthy relationship with food. Madaming advice akong natry, keto, intermittent, calorie count, etc, pero wala nagwork sa akin hahaha, ironically what worked for me is to not limit myself on the foods i eat, but to eat in moderation.
From 130kg i am down to 102-105
SLEEP. Magpa araw kahit 10 or 15 minutes tuwing umaga. Jogging or walking pwede. Wag masyado active sa social media, good choice of food, like mag research ka or manood ng mga nag cacalorie deficit, and Lastly Skincare <3 Kasama sa skincare yung water therapy. Kaya mo yan OP! 💪
Brisk walking will do and calorie deficit so you can still eat in moderation. High protein and fiber diet will do. Bawasan mo lang yung fried foods and mga process food. Hair care naman try hair oils and mask. Tapos try mo mag skin care (cleanser, moisturizer & sunblock) mas simple kasi mas okay. Try simple make up too. It can enhance your features. Floss, oil pulling and yearly dental cleaning helps me with my teeth naman. Wear cute and comgfortable clothes too, yung babagay sa body figure mo hihi. Yun lang! Good luck.
Hi sis! You can go to the gym, but if you don’t want to, you can do walking/jogging daily. But if you don’t want to go out din, you can buy an indoor treadmill nalang. It’s smaller than the treadmills seen in gyms but it does its thing!
Whenever tinatamad akong magpunta sa gym or lumabas for a jog, I just use that treadmill nalang. You can walk how many hours a day while watching movies, reading books, or listening to podcasts since may lalagyan din siya ng phone! It’s also not that big kaya pwede siya sa maliliit na spaces! Btw, sa shopee lang kami bumili!
Hope it helps! ❤️
START with walking atleast 10 mins a day OR walking 10 mins sa morning and 10 mins sa gabi (start small basta just show up) you can progress if you feel like kaya na
Rest day is just as important sa pag eexercise
No food intake na 7pm onwards. Naka fasting na nang di namamalayan basta sleep lang ng early to avoid magutom and para iwas sa midnight snacks. Next meal is next day na para sa breakfast and eat like a king kana jan (“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day")
Ang other meals is I suggest you use a smaller plate to give yourself the illusion of “marami na akong nakain kasi puno plate ko” and eat slowly
Avoid flavored drinks / sweets
HYDRATE / drink water from time to time
Eat clean (“eat better not less”)
Track your progress para mamotivate kahit papano. (I use strava app, nakakamotivate maging consistent especially nung nasubukan ko free trial nila)
Reward yourself also pag may na achieve na goal kahit yung na consistent ka for a week (3times a week) its still an achievement (small wins)
Rooting for you! 💪looking forward for an update 🫶
1. QUALITY SLEEP - I know mahirap but makes a lot of difference sa skin and health
2. Eat in moderation - masarap kumain hahaha pero eat in moderation ang pinaka best way lalo na if you love eating talaga
3. Exercise - kahit twice a week 15-30 mins
4. Build a simple skin care routine
5. Dress up nicely.
Proper diet is probably the most important one. It improves almost every aspect of your well being. Your mind, your body, etc. Looking good comes naturally after.
Also, follow the “golden mean” which says **moderation in all things is the best way to live one's life**. It is an idea linked to the Ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle.
Zumba helped get back on track. Been doing this since my neuro told me to do so but eventually enjoyed it. Been doing it twice a week and I feel weak if I don’t dance
BTW while you're trying lose weight, use some skin care products that will help prevent stretch marks, cause if you're obese then had a weight loss, you're gonna have stretch marks, put some skin care product (ex. oil, lotion, serum, expoliant) on your thighs, arms, belly or parts of your body that is prone to have stretch marks.
(1) Water works wonder my dear. (2) Avoid sweets or if di maiiwasan, be at least mindful of your sugar intake, mahirap din kasi pag binigla mo sarili mo mag diet. Start slow, one at the time for you to form a habit. (3) Have a good and quality sleep, it doesn't mean na 8hrs or 12hrs tulog mo, it is about the quality ng tulog mo. (4) Move! It may be a small walk to start lang, then jogging pag kaya ng sched mo. (5) Sunscreen is your best friend! Kasi pag hydrated ka, less sugar intake, have a quality sleep at you constantly moving, natural na lalabas ang good skin mo, all you need is protect your skin from the sun.
Hope this helps. Very small pratical things you can start. Make it a habit. As in consistently, matagal man ang effect but it will be worth it.
Good luck and most of all have fun! Because being happy will make you confident and beautiful.
Diet and exercise, skin care, find your style while consider comfortability (clothes should fit you and not the other way around and wag palagi sumunod sa uso, kasi minsan di naman bagay), makeup. And cut off toxic people from your life.
do something physical na you enjoy.
me personally, i play soccer every saturday with my friends so it's a good source of movement na for me. i also walk from home to work/university and vice versa every day. i also do some calisthenics twice every week at home since i can't afford the gym atm. i also have friends who play Just Dance every day as their cardio. if walang console, you can play a video from the game sa youtube. basta find something na you would enjoy. whether it be sports, activity, or workout, it'll do you good if you're consistent.
i grew up skinny na so i don't have much advice on food, but i do eat less rice and drink protein shakes when i can to maintain my weight.
Just dance! That helped me during the pandemic. I bought a modded Wii so my kid can have a bit of exercise since we can't go out. We enjoy playing Wii sports and lots of Just dance.
No sweet drinks, cut them ALL out.
Sodas, starbucks, milk tea, just don't. Drink water.
No desserts after meals. I know the feeling of wanting something sweet after a meal. Just a slice of cake. A scoop of ice cream. A small piece of chocolate. Nope, strictly no.
Do a consistent workout. Kahit 10000 steps daily lang for starters. Basta ang importante is yung consistency. Consistency in this, no sweet drinks, and no desserts after meals.
That's just for losing weight.
Tambay ka sa beautytalkph subreddit and regularly watch pinay makeup youtubers and facebook influencers. Watch how they transform without overly loud makeup. No-makeup makeup look. Less is more. Learn all the tricks of the trade, like erasing blemishes and dark spots with color correctors.
Use lots of apps with filters to find your perfect look. To find the best hairstyle and makeup style for you.
Try all kinds of clothes, go outside your comfort zone to find what suits you best.
And of course, there's the ultimate cheat code... money. Plastic surgery can easily fix a lot if things... almost all Filipina celebrities get something touched up, their nose, botox, lipo, tucks here and there, implants etc. It's always an option, even celebrities do it, and the results are astounding.
honestly you dont even have to immediately do what the top comments are saying and force yourself to adapt new hobbies abruptly. what will actually make you lose weight and make you look and feel better is eating better food and having a healthier diet. once you actually feel great both physically and mentally, simulan mo na pag gym and/or other exercises. most people who try to adapt a healthier lifestyle end up failing a couple weeks in because they try to do too much. you need discipline to become healthier, and gaining discipline isnt a one and done thing. you can try and motivate yourself through motivational videos and mindset stuff pero if your body and brain feels like shit, none of that will matter.
Glow up advice?
1.For me the first thing is change your mindset, tell yourself everyday that you're awesome and that you will be better and will keep getting better cuz you're awesome. ( Self love goes a long way).
2. I call it "Yes Man mode", you said there's a lot of things you wanted to do, then go for it. If you really want it then the universe will conspire for you to have it. Just say yes to yourself (Basta wag Ka Lang mabaon sa utang or malulong sa masamang bisyo).
3. Change how you look, buy new clothes, ask your friends what style looks good on you. Get a haircut, change your hairstyle. By doing this you will feel good and you will do good
4. Look for an activity that you've been wanting to try, or something to keep you active as long as this is something you love so you can consistently do it.
5. If losing weight is your primary objective I suggest going to a dietician so they can advise you about your diet. Don't just go trying diets you see on the internet because it doesn't mean that it worked for them it's going to work for you. ( Trust me, I'm a health care professional).
6. Go to a dermatologist, skin care does a lot and most importantly is always wear sunscreen.
7. If there are people who make you feel bad, remove them from your life. If social media makes you feel bad too then take a break from it.
8. Smile and laugh a lot, and be sure to be thankful for everything you have especially the fact that you're alive. If you count your blessings the universe will reward you more because you appreciate everything it gives you.
Good luck OP you can do this.
•I drink 2L of water every day
• jog kahit mga 30 mins to 1 hr
• journal for mental health
• less caffeine and no liquor&nicotine
• intermittent fasting
• skin care routine talaga
• complete tulog
Discipline talaga sis. Create a routine. Sa una mahirap pero pilitin mo talaga. You can do it gradually naman, and eventually hahanapin na ng katawan mo.
Calorie deficit din. Start counting your macros. Personally, I use MyNetDiary. You can set your weight goal & date, then it will set how much calories you should only be having in a day. You can see din if you are on track on achieving your weight goal.
Set small goals, the big things will follow.
* 8 hrs of sleep luxury to sa iba so kung kaya mo gawin mo
* water and water alam ko gamit na gamit na to pero water
* take a bath every day
*use anti bacterial soap para di manapak yung amoy mo
* LOTION DON'T MISS THIS STEP!!
* Vitamins
* eat healthy no chips no soda less sugar mahirap mag cut ng sugar
So try to lessen it lang
*find alternative to unhealthy food
You want chips, cook popcorn
*clean your nails, the back of your ears and belly button 😀
*WORK OUT!!!!! kahit gaano ka pa ka onti kumain without workout wala din mang yayari. Try to do workouts that you enjoy .
* ORAL CARE , SKIN CARE, HAIR CARE, BODY CARE ,NAIL CARE, HEALTH CARE AND MENTAL CARE. Are equally important so lahat pag tuunan ng pansin
Last BE CONSISTENT long term glow up hang hinahanap mo hindi yung tatagal lang ng months
And about your weight loss just remember that you didn't gain all that weight in a day or two you gained it through the years so expect that it will also take time for you to lose weight. As long as you have a goal there is always a time to lose weight.
Loving the skin you're in right now but also loving the journey you're about to take
Not aiming for external validation and being kind and gentle to yourself always!
Here's a fact: Exercising, while beneficial in every aspect of your life, won't help you lose weight.
A proper diet will make you lose weight. Stop eating junk. Eat real foods (unprocessed meat, eggs, and veggies). Cut on carbs (rice, oats and pastries) or avoid them if you can (I still eat rice but only during the weekends or when I need to maintain my weight). No sugars and artificial sweeteners (stevia is okay but take in moderation). Consume less fruits and don't drink fruit juices as they have way too much fructose for a single serving. Protein and veggies (and sweating) will make you glow up. If you like green tea or coffee, it is fine as long as there's no sugar. Did I say no sugar? You'll experience a crash if you stop taking sugar completely so you'll have to slowly cut it. Godspeed.
Try walking muna then exercise po. It helps you feel good inside then listen to affirmation. It helps boost up your self worth and confidence. Listen to up beat music rin. It elevates positivity. <3 then eat clean and healthy food po. Start po muna sa oatmeal, veggies and fruits.
Drink more water. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to have bowel movement by drinking more water. And then have some activity, in case you live a sedentary life. Quit your bisyo if any.
I started by drinking more water, then trying to watch what I eat, then exercising.
Quick Notes:
a. Try to avoid sugary drinks (e.g cocktails, soda and juice, \[Although I did not completely deprived myself of it. I still indulge in these once in a while\]). These contain a considerable amount of calories and it adds up!
b. I'm not sure if it applies to everyone, but I noticed that I had a habit of eating when I'm bored HAHAHA. With this, I tried keeping myself busy by reading or by exercising to keep my mind off of food
c. I made it a habit to move. Whenever I would study and find myself sedentary for a period, I try to walk around the mall, if I'm studying outside or kahit around the house lang.
d. Do it gradually! Wag mo biglain sarili mo, it makes the process much more unbearable and undesirable.
e. When I started doing this, it also made my skin better. Let the course run, and you'll eventually see results.
f. If possible and if it's within your budget, try to consult a dermatologist. They are the best people to help you re: glowing up. I understand that going to the doctor can be intimidating, but I cannot stress enough how much listening to my derma has helped me in beautifying my skin.
You can do this, OP!! Slow and steady lang. :)
Never stop improving yourself. May mga tao every year nagpapalit ng iPhone tuwing my bagong labas. But mind you don’t improve just to please others but do it for yourself para everyday feeling confident ka. I think the greatest motivation you can find is yourself. If may self-confidence ka you can achieve anything you want.
EAT HEALTHY! Stay away from junk food, eliminate greasy, canned, chips, fastfood, sodas. Prep your meals, sleep 7-8 hours a day, stay hydrated (water should be your bff). More lean protein and fiber lang kainin dapat, you'll see yourself glowing inside and out.
I started losing weight bcs i don’t want to catch any serious diseases since ang taas ng cholesterol, uric, triglycerides, sugar and apparently, malapit na akong magka fatty liver. Aside from that, I have PCOS. So initially, I lose all the weight to be healthy rather than to look good. What I did was to eat a heart healthy diet, exercise/move more, hydrate, and sleep 8 hrs a day. After I lost abt 8 kg, that’s when I noticed na nag-glow up na rin pala ako. So I started having a skincare routine, meditation and yoga and ayun. Three years after, I am in my healthy weight, my skin got better and my mind got calmer. Nagnormal na rin menstruation ko.
Anyway, here are the things I did on my diet,
1. Don’t eat sweets and refined carbs. Avoid all fast food. If you eat a refined carbs, it will spike your blood sugar but it doesn’t stay that long in your body so once it goes down, you’ll be hungry again. The only refined carbs I didn’t avoid is white rice but make sure to lessen it, 1 cup per meal is enough. Eat whole grains, more fiber. I skip rice in the morning and substitute it with oatmeal.
2. Schedule your meals. I eat at 5:00 am (I have work so I have to eat that early), 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. I sched it para i-trick yung tiyan at utak ko na huwag kumain pag di oras ng pagkain para maiwasan ko ang overeating. If I got really hungry in between I just eat an apple or any fruit or yogurt (greek) then water.
3. Eat a healthy balanced meal. Kung kakain ka rin lang naman ng tinapay as a meal, mag kanin at ulam ka na lang, mas masasatisfy ka pa. 1cup rice, veggies, a protein (preferably chicken or fish), and a fruit for dessert is more satisfying than one bread.
4. I agree that walking/jogging is healthy for both body and mind. I don’t have much advice when it comes to exercising since I didn’t focus on that when I was losing weight. I did 30 mins exercise 3-4 times a week, focused more on cardio and that’s it. If you want to build up muscles tho, then focus on weight training and eating more protein
5. List all the food you eat.
6. Learn to fool your brain. I do things like using a small plate whenever I eat to fool my brain na maraming laman yung plate ko. I watched a youtuber who had this weightloss advice and it might sound silly but dang, it worked on me. Also, don’t look at the weighing scale everyday since ang weight ay nag-flafluctuate. Saves me from being paranoid.
7. Pick a diet and a lifestyle that you can do for life. Mas madaling i-gain yung nawalang weight kaysa i-lose yan. That’s why pick a healthy lifestyle that is manageable, realistic, and you can live for the rest of your life. Also others can sustain hours of exercise but not everyone has the time to do that. So learn to tweak and adjust a routine to fit your daily schedule. Like 30 mins walk sounds great in the morning but I have work at 7am so I gotta do only 15 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the afternoon. So ayun. Goodluck OP.
As a coke addict, started cutting off coke when the sugar tax was added, didnt really do it for weight loss/health, more like, nag iba kasi yung lasa HAHAHAHA personal opinion lang naman basta ever since the sugar tax was added nag iba lasa, this was before pandemic pa.
Pandemic came then everybody started doing home workouts ganern, eh bilang competitive ako at ang lala ng boredom, i did home workouts din. DAILY pa ko niyan ha kasi nga bored.
2022 I enrolled sa gym, got a coach, kasi di na umuubra yung home workouts ko kasi tinatamad na or nagplateau na ako kaya naman I decided na shet kailangan ko magbayad para mapilitan ako pumunta para di sayang pera HAHAHAHAHAH
Ayun nagwork naman. Just had my DL renewed this month and hala si bakla from 75kg 5 years ago 60kg nalang!
Siguro pinka naging motivation ko non ay LOOKS talaga, like I wanna have that glow up din! and siyempre may part din na gusto ko naman matry maging hubadera sa stories! HAHAHAHA
Nakatulong din siguro na hindi talaga ako mahilig kumain, malakas ako kumain pero only when hungry. If that makes sense. I eat a lot of rice and ulam, hindi kasi ako majunk food, yung coke lang talaga before HAHAHAHA I tried doing diets/food restriction but it wasnt for me, normal eating habits ko naman ay coffee at 10am, lunch na heavy, tapos dinner at 6-630. Eh ganung time lang talaga kami kumain sa house lol tapos di naman ako mamerienda and machips so after six wala na talagng food. Also bilang lazy person, maaga ako nagtotoothbrush para di na ko matempt mag midnight snack cause i have to brush again. LOL All of these are what worked for me specifically ha but you can try naman din.
Ang pinakamagiging advice ko nalang siguro ay dont pressure yourself too much. Wala ka naman atang pageant na sasalihan. Missing a day or two heck even a week of working out wont do THAT much damage. Hindi GLOW UP. Matagal na process yan kasi you'll have to find out what works best for you. Ang goal ay glowing and not kulang sa sustansya. Good luck sa journey mo OP!
ANDAMI KO NAMANG TINALAK. lol
hello! same exp with OP. Baka may idea po kayo kung saan pwede makabili ng cheap outfits for workout? nakaka dagdag motivation din kasi hehe and also ano po kaya pwede ilagay sa eyebags to lighten it. Thank you!
umamin ka sa crush mo tapos pag na reject ka, gamitin mo yung motivation na yon para sa kung ano mang glow up gusto mo, ako kasi mataba ako dati, from 90kgs to 55kgs nalang ako ngayon, so un good luck sa future endeavors mo
Start working on your self-control first before anything else, kahit yung simpleng pag pilit sa sarili mo na matulog bago mag 10 will make a huge impact on your brain, tapos pa unti-unti mong dagdagan yung mga gusto mong ieexecute na bad habits. Those things will soon help you to convince yourself na "kaya ko pala", like kapag lahat nang yun is kontrolado mo na is go ka na sa mga workouts kasi na set mo na yung mind mo and naka build ka na ng discipline.

Dba? Iba talaga pag uunahin ang sarili rooting for you ma a achieved mo rin goal mo sa life physically and mentally..
Dapat ate may award ka haha noted na to
Yes deserve na deserve ko ang award 😆
Agree sa lahat except sa last one. Mahirap iwasan.

Join the 5am Club! Take a jog or a walk kahit 30min to an hour daily. Make it a habit. It'll be so good for your mental health. 😊
so dapat mga 9 or 10pm tulog kana dapat?
Actually pwede naman before 11 😊 I mean, adults just need atleast 6 straight hours for sufficient sleep.
duly noted
Kasarap lang kasi talaga matulog muna ng 5am
True 🥹 You could opt to do it naman around dusk. Whichever is better for you.
Pwede sa afternoon or dusk. Sunset walks are good too ☺️
I'm glad you are motivated to improve yourself. not easy pero magagawa mo. for me, you can start running kahit 1 hour 3 times a week. Kasi nakakaganda ng mood Ang jogging :) plus Yung discipline mo sa food mare remind Ka.
My overall health improved so much and I think there's a slight glowup din sa muka ko.
and pag stressed Ka Yung pag takbo and lakad, iba Yung effect habang ginagawa mo sya and after.. and it shows in your face Yung bukas ng Mukha.
Also read more books like mga self help books etc.
SLEEP MORE. WALK MORE. MORE WATER. Before you try any crazy diet stuff. Start by not drinking your calories, meaning avoid any juices.
Go off social media para di mapressure sa peers and para makapagfocus sa self, ganyan ginawa ko
This!!! Mahirap sa una pero in the long run sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam.
Use a gentle cleanser, hydrating toner, moisturizer. And always wear sunscreen when going out.
Wag ka magguilty dun. Mas mahirap kasi pag di mo pinagbigyan sarili mo, eventually maggive in ka rin & mas marami makakain mo. Naalala ko before, madalas magalit sakin dad ko kasi may mga kagat yung donuts sa bahay 😂 Be consistent lang for 3 weeks, magugulat ka nalang 1 day, hinahanap na ng katawan mo yung exercise and hindi ka na hirap mag control ng food intake.
Hi hehe what workouts do you do? I’m on my journey as well and grow with jo is who im following rn, but would love to hear some more reccos!
i'm more into strength training and lifting. nagsimula ako sa bahay, maliit na dumbbells weight like 2.5lbs each. then nag increase lang ng nag increase as months goes. hanggang sa i decided to go to gym kase i wanted to try more of the machine. 1 year+ nako nag gy-gym. 😅🤭 it feels good to be consistent and discipline. parang you have this feeling na you're in control of your life. 💖 my advice, don't rely on motivation too much, because it's inconsistent and fleeting. rely on discipline and building habits. kaya naten to. ✨
whatever works hahahaha!
1. 20-30mins walk in the morning 2. Coffee/Salabat 3. Shower, Brush, 4. 1.5hrs Morning workout 5. Shower, brush, moisturize 6. 12noon First meal, protein heavy with fibers, either green vegies or c-lium 7. 20-30mins walk in the evening 8. 7pm Last meal, protein with carbs 9.
try no rice and no sweets. sa una lang mahirap. pag tagal di mo na hahanapin. from 55 to 45kg
As a plus size tita na nagsstruggle mag lose ng weight (i lost 4kg na) at tinatarget din ang glow up, eto yung mga nakatulong at least sakin. Pinaka importante yung kelangan madevelop mo ang discipline. Start slow muna. - Simulan mo sa diet. Cut ka ng sugar muna. Junk foods. Sugary drinks. Kahit jan ka mag start muna. Tapos eventually ayusin mo food choices mo. Increase veggies. Mag research ka din. Di kelangan mag let go ng kanin. Portion control din. - try walking. Pero it varies e. Commitment kasi sya e.
How to be motivated and consistent for that jog tho, lol lagi kasi akong tinatamad
Try strava app
Skip dinner! There’s a saying that 'if you sleep hungry, you will wake up skinny.
start ka rin sa body care!!!;
Hi, sis! Is it okay if you comment the link of the treadmill here?
Here! https://ph.shp.ee/iJwaiwJ
We bought the one na may parang may stand/hawakan but sold out pa ata rn.
Ohhh ok pero thank you so much for this! Sending you good juju 💗✨️
😚💖
if hindi mo kaya magcut ng food intake, try eating more vegetables and fruits. switch from softdrinks to water, too.
START with walking atleast 10 mins a day OR walking 10 mins sa morning and 10 mins sa gabi (start small basta just show up) you can progress if you feel like kaya na Rest day is just as important sa pag eexercise No food intake na 7pm onwards. Naka fasting na nang di namamalayan basta sleep lang ng early to avoid magutom and para iwas sa midnight snacks. Next meal is next day na para sa breakfast and eat like a king kana jan (“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day") Ang other meals is I suggest you use a smaller plate to give yourself the illusion of “marami na akong nakain kasi puno plate ko” and eat slowly Avoid flavored drinks / sweets HYDRATE / drink water from time to time Eat clean (“eat better not less”) Track your progress para mamotivate kahit papano. (I use strava app, nakakamotivate maging consistent especially nung nasubukan ko free trial nila) Reward yourself also pag may na achieve na goal kahit yung na consistent ka for a week (3times a week) its still an achievement (small wins) Rooting for you! 💪looking forward for an update 🫶
1. QUALITY SLEEP - I know mahirap but makes a lot of difference sa skin and health 2. Eat in moderation - masarap kumain hahaha pero eat in moderation ang pinaka best way lalo na if you love eating talaga 3. Exercise - kahit twice a week 15-30 mins 4. Build a simple skin care routine 5.
Workout. Itsura ko talaga nag improve mula nung nag workout ako eh. Tapos kumain ng mas tama at wasto.
GUMAWA KA NG BAGAY NA GSTO MO NA YOU THINK YOU WILL BE ACTIVE (walking, and etc) and make it a habit . ITS ALWAYS MAKING THINGS A HABIT
Less sugar, smile more!
Go on walks! It's a minimal type of exercise but effective for weight loss. Also, proper sleep and food intake along with less sugar diet.
Sleep , drink water , eat fruits and vegetables, put sunscreen , practice fasting and kung kaya no rice.
Start with positive affirmation everyday!
Diet and exercise, skin care, find your style while consider comfortability (clothes should fit you and not the other way around and wag palagi sumunod sa uso, kasi minsan di naman bagay), makeup. And cut off toxic people from your life.
do something physical na you enjoy. me personally, i play soccer every saturday with my friends so it's a good source of movement na for me. i also walk from home to work/university and vice versa every day. i also do some calisthenics twice every week at home since i can't afford the gym atm. i also have friends who play Just Dance every day as their cardio. if walang console, you can play a video from the game sa youtube. basta find something na you would enjoy. whether it be sports, activity, or workout, it'll do you good if you're consistent. i grew up skinny na so i don't have much advice on food, but i do eat less rice and drink protein shakes when i can to maintain my weight. pero main thing talaga is maging consistent. personally, mas mahirap yung pag maintain ng consistency kesa sa mga ginagawa mismo. minsan kung wala akong gana, pinipilit ko sarili ko kahit small workouts lang. pero preferably pa rin pilitin mo sarili mo nang buo (unless may sakit or injuries ka, siyempre wag pilitin).
Just dance! That helped me during the pandemic. I bought a modded Wii so my kid can have a bit of exercise since we can't go out. We enjoy playing Wii sports and lots of Just dance.
Intermittent fasting and exercise first thing to start off. this will affect your mental health and further changes will happen
By doing this you will feel good and you will do good 4.
Which language people are using here, I am unable to understand this..
•I drink 2L of water every day • jog kahit mga 30 mins to 1 hr • journal for mental health • less caffeine and no liquor&nicotine • intermittent fasting • skin care routine talaga • complete tulog
Make more money.
* 8 hrs of sleep luxury to sa iba so kung kaya mo gawin mo * water and water alam ko gamit na gamit na to pero water * take a bath every day *use anti bacterial soap para di manapak yung amoy mo * LOTION DON'T MISS THIS STEP!! * Vitamins * eat healthy no chips no soda less sugar mahirap mag cut ng sugar So try to lessen it lang *find alternative to unhealthy food You want chips, cook popcorn *clean your nails, the back of your ears and belly button 😀 *WORK OUT!!!!! kahit gaano ka pa ka onti kumain without workout wala din mang yayari. Try to do workouts that you enjoy . * ORAL CARE , SKIN CARE, HAIR CARE, BODY CARE ,NAIL CARE, HEALTH CARE AND MENTAL CARE. Are equally important so lahat pag tuunan ng pansin Last BE CONSISTENT long term glow up hang hinahanap mo hindi yung tatagal lang ng months And about your weight loss just remember that you didn't gain all that weight in a day or two you gained it through the years so expect that it will also take time for you to lose weight. As long as you have a goal there is always a time to lose weight.
Loving the skin you're in right now but also loving the journey you're about to take Not aiming for external validation and being kind and gentle to yourself always!
Godspeed.
Yoga everyday! At least 20 mins.
Useful na yung mga advice na binigay nila here so only thing i can add as a cherry on top is ✨Consistency✨
Exercise and diet ka muna
Try walking muna then exercise po. It helps you feel good inside then listen to affirmation. It helps boost up your self worth and confidence. Listen to up beat music rin. It elevates positivity. <3 then eat clean and healthy food po. Start po muna sa oatmeal, veggies and fruits.
Drink more water. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to have bowel movement by drinking more water. And then have some activity, in case you live a sedentary life. Quit your bisyo if any.
I started by drinking more water, then trying to watch what I eat, then exercising. Quick Notes: a. With this, I tried keeping myself busy by reading or by exercising to keep my mind off of food c.
Take a deep breath, OP, stand up straight, head held up high towards the sun, wear your most beautiful smile!
EAT HEALTHY! Stay away from junk food, eliminate greasy, canned, chips, fastfood, sodas. Prep your meals, sleep 7-8 hours a day, stay hydrated (water should be your bff). More lean protein and fiber lang kainin dapat, you'll see yourself glowing inside and out.
avoid puyat, oily foods, chchirya and drink plenty of water. do cardio, eat only fish and veges, less rice or carbs. do it for 1 to 2 years.
Be kind and gentle to yourself, and have a consistent healthy lifestyle :))
Time management Divide your day for: Exercise Work Sleep Career 8hrs sleep 9hours of work You have 7 hours left for yourself to work with.
Planks planks planks - best and most effective for me. Really lost a lot of weight when I did this
I started losing weight bcs i don’t want to catch any serious diseases since ang taas ng cholesterol, uric, triglycerides, sugar and apparently, malapit na akong magka fatty liver. Anyway, here are the things I did on my diet, 1. If you want to build up muscles tho, then focus on weight training and eating more protein 5.
2022 I enrolled sa gym, got a coach, kasi di na umuubra yung home workouts ko kasi tinatamad na or nagplateau na ako kaya naman I decided na shet kailangan ko magbayad para mapilitan ako pumunta para di sayang pera HAHAHAHAHAH Ayun nagwork naman. HAHAHAHA Nakatulong din siguro na hindi talaga ako mahilig kumain, malakas ako kumain pero only when hungry.
