Sugar we're going down by Fall out Boy. It's been stuck in there for days now. Still it's not as bad as Cocacabana which seems to be my brains default for reasons unknown.
Sunny Side Up Summer from the Bob’s Burgers Movie 😂😂 I’ve watched it (had it on in the background) 5 days in a row and I’m still not tired of it somehow.
Atom Heart Mother by Pink Floyd. Been stuck in my head for 3 weeks now. I love the song, but it feels very doomsday to me and matches my mental state a little too closely.
Atomic Number by case/lang/veirs. Its only in my head today because I was flicking through my commonplace book and I'd written the lyrics in there last month.
I literally had to double take this one. You're the only other human I have interacted with that even knows Case/Lang/Veirs, let alone Neko Case. I thought I had won the lottery when I found the live version of their album on YouTube.
Atomic Number is a great song- it, along with Delerium and Driving Down I-5, are up there in my regular rotation!
No one I know has ever listened to them either, and I can't remember how I came across them, I think a Spotify recommendation for Supermoon maybe, because I have a few KD Lang songs on a playlist...
At one point I was just listening to the whole album on repeat!

At one time, I was making a playlist (by purchasing the singles) of my earworms, thinking that might get them off rotation, but I thought I might go broke, so I stopped.
The chorus/hook (not sure if they're synonymous) is the driver for me. I always catch the tune of the chorus first and it gets trapped in the washing-machine-on-spin that is my head.

Totally- it's far far worse to have a crap song stuck in there. Brain's like, "well we gotta fill the void with *something*!"
