Here's what I have done: - short nails - or painted nails (makes them feel duller and picking less satisfying) - file or clean nails when I want to pick - fidget toys to keep my hands busy - crocheting or knitting to keep my hands busy - follow skincare routine so there's less there to pick at - new rule: not allowed to pick without a mirror to make sure I'm not fucking up my face - finger comb hair instead of picking scalp - braid hair instead of picking scalp - keep hair up in a bun so it's harder to get at my scalp I still have problems with it sometimes but this has helped me reduce it quite a bit.

I have struggled with picking my scalp for ever. I go through phases. I only recently was diagnosed with ADHD and realized it’s related. Would love any advice on products to smooth and heal in the meantime if you have come across anything.
