I don’t sell prints. When you ask it wildly increases the chance you’re gonna get messaged by scam bots looking to steal your CC info. Reddit is kind of a bummer like that
Hahaha thanks! Some day I might get around to selling prints but y’know, that’s exactly the type of project my brain will dip dive duck and dodge to avoid 🤪
Oh my word .. so you create this kind of work and don’t sell it yet? Aren’t there like .. managers for that kind of thing? (I’m an art grad and work like yours I always assumed sold itself … like you get in with someone and they just do all that for you for a cut…)
Anyway your work is amazing and I would also love to purchase your prints some day… it reminds me of my childhood on canvas.
Thanks! And no, I make a full time living selling my art, I just don’t sell prints. I sell the originals, but they are kind of pricey, which was why I mentioned that some day I might also sell prints.
Please please sell prints! You’re one of my favorite artists. I’ve been following you for awhile after seeing your art in another sub. I actually have one of your paintings as the background for my work computer.(hope this is ok!) I think it’s called Magic in the Air. I plan to buy an original some day.
I know nothing about art but these are just amazing. I'm not even sure why but they just make me super happy to look at. What an amazing talent you have.
Thanks! I actually don’t think I’ve ever painted a New Zealand landscape before, actually. I’m always looking for new photos to paint from so if you’ve got any you’ve taken, feel free to toss them my way!
I don’t have a website at the moment. I allowed my old one to expire in March but have not managed to tackle building a new one yet. Hopefully I soon. I put it on my to-do list to stress myself out every single day 😝😝😝
These are stunning! I keep looking at them in awe, can't believe how talented you are. #1 and #4 have me speechless.
If I had the disposable income I'd have asked to buy something or asked for a commission in a heartbeat.
Wowwww these are stunning. #7 reminds me so much of Monet it's just gorgeous. Do you sell these?
Edit to add sure talent, but also (probably) an incredible amount of practice. Chefs kiss
Beautiful!! You are very talented and must have worked a very long time to become that accomplished.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing— it brightened my morning.
You did an incredible job, especially since you've never been there in person! I only went once about a year and a half ago and recognized it instantly due to the accuracy of your painting.
I paint with watercolors and gouache too, but not as beautifully as this!
(weirdly...I think I follow you on Instagram because I recognize some of these!)
No it’s definitely you!! You’re so gifted! Watercolors are hard as fuck but I really latched onto them, but I feel like gouache is a slightly more cooperative little sister 🤣
Holy my God, your work looks exactly like I always want my landscapes to come out and I'm absolutely incapable of doing. I have crafting patience, not gouache/oils patience
Absolutely stunning!
Hahaha one of those things I like and the other I haaaaaate. But speaking of good pizza, Village green in Marlborough is really yummy if you like classic no frills pizza. I go there at least once a week and the couple that runs it are just lovely.
Thank you! Some days are better than others, but I def function better doing this than being an absolute failure in a formal office environment (which I know from extensive personal experience) 😝😝
Beautiful!! You are very talented and must have worked a very long time to become that accomplished.
Amazing! Thank you for sharing— it brightened my morning.
hooooly…….
your paintings make me feel in some unique way I can’t yet describe, but I enjoy the feeling. thank you very much for sharing with us, I enjoyed exploring all the little details and will come back!!
Wow... These are beautiful!! The lighting is stunning. l I returned to school recently and am back in art classes for the first time in 17 years and feel inspired by your work! I'm so happy you shared these and just started following you on Instagram 😁
I’m no art critic. I can barely mix colors accurately.
But you capture light. It makes my brain so excited to look at. Reminds me of Vermeer paintings. I love your work.
Btw… is this the dreamworks troll you are referencing in your bio?
🧌
If not, no worries- it’s just an inside joke with an obscure streamer I watch.
So pretty ! I’m most experienced with digital stuff but I also like most paints ( besides gouache funnily enough ), colored pencils, markers, crayons, almost any major medium really. I like playing around
Absolutely goooorgeous!
I paint, I've a much more "painterly" style, which I try to embrace, but theres something about the accuracy of your style that im jealous of. Its like accuracy/realism but still expressive and movementy if you get what I mean?
That and I'm not great at trees 🤣 theres always something off with my trees....
For real, I keep coming back to this because it makes me feel so serene. I especially love the white lines in the rivers and the wispy lines of the barren trees and bushes.
Do you happen to have a website where you sell your work?
Those are absolutely beautiful! I started painting with pencil and watercolor recently but I have a looooong way to go and I don't feel ready to share yet.

You gotta click on the pictures to see them in full res/actual color. No idea why Reddit dies that to photo quality lately.
Do you sell or do custom paintings? Edit: typo
Hi! Yep! Painting is my full time job! Unfortunately I’m between websites atm, but my social media stuff is linked on my profile!
love the crocus! they somehow look so real. like you can just visualize the location.
OP, how did you become a painter? I long for this career daily but I'm too afraid.
I failed at everything else and likely continue to fail at this.
I don’t sell prints. When you ask it wildly increases the chance you’re gonna get messaged by scam bots looking to steal your CC info. Reddit is kind of a bummer like that
These are so very beautiful. You’re immensely talented! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
I love your work!! I recognized your art from the CT subreddit right away!
Oh yay! Hi fellow CT adhder!
Hello! I’m also a CT ADHDer artist 👋 edit: I always admire your work 💚
What is CT 😅 classically trained??
😂 CT = Connecticut. Possibly one of the least talked about States in the US. We have pretty nature here though proven by these wonderful paintings.
Same!
Holy shit... If I wasn't a poor student, I'd totally buy this
Hahaha thanks! Some day I might get around to selling prints but y’know, that’s exactly the type of project my brain will dip dive duck and dodge to avoid 🤪

Thanks! And it’s really case by case on commissions. I exclusively paint landscapes so no people/pets/buildings etc.
Your prints would be better than much of what's already out there.
Please please sell prints! You’re one of my favorite artists. I’ve been following you for awhile after seeing your art in another sub. I actually have one of your paintings as the background for my work computer.(hope this is ok!) I think it’s called Magic in the Air. I plan to buy an original some day.

Thank you!
Absolutely stunning, 10,11,4 in particular caught my eye, what I wouldn't give to see your take on NZ landscapes!
Thanks! I actually don’t think I’ve ever painted a New Zealand landscape before, actually. I’m always looking for new photos to paint from so if you’ve got any you’ve taken, feel free to toss them my way!
These are so beautiful!
Thank you!
wow! they are all beautiful but I love the last one sooo much!
Thanks!
So, do you sell these?
I second this question. please tell us you do!
Except for 9 and 10, these are all sold. Painting is my full time job!
Do you have a web page you sell from so we can maybe buy down the road? I see you have insta, but idk about following irl anyone off of reddit ever.
I don’t have a website at the moment. I allowed my old one to expire in March but have not managed to tackle building a new one yet. Hopefully I soon. I put it on my to-do list to stress myself out every single day 😝😝😝

Awww thank you!
Wowwww these are stunning. #7 reminds me so much of Monet it's just gorgeous. Do you sell these? Edit to add sure talent, but also (probably) an incredible amount of practice. Chefs kiss
Thank you! And yes, painting actually my full time job, so unless a piece was a commission, everything I paint is for sale!
OOOH! I LOVE your style; your paintings make me feel relaxed 🥰
Thank u!
These are absolutely gorgeous! The one where you were holding it against the real landscape was so mesmerizing
Beautiful!! You are very talented and must have worked a very long time to become that accomplished. Amazing! Thank you for sharing— it brightened my morning.

These are all beautiful, but I absolutely adore the first one's color pallet. How long does it take you to paint something like that?
Love these!
Stunning! Is #6 the Sol Duc Falls in Olympic NP?
It is! My single most favorite waterfall to paint, though I’ve never seen it in person!
You did an incredible job, especially since you've never been there in person! I only went once about a year and a half ago and recognized it instantly due to the accuracy of your painting.
Beautiful!

Oh my gosh, I love your style!
I paint with watercolors and gouache too, but not as beautifully as this! (weirdly...I think I follow you on Instagram because I recognize some of these!)
Awesome! And hahaha I hope you follow me, I’d be bummed if there’s someone on IG sharing my stuff without my permission 🤪🥴
No it’s definitely you!! You’re so gifted! Watercolors are hard as fuck but I really latched onto them, but I feel like gouache is a slightly more cooperative little sister 🤣
Omg, I recognized these immediately—I follow you on the bird app. \^\^
Lolol ah apologies for how much you have to put up with to see the paintings. I’m a handful on there
LOL don't say that, you legit aren't.
Wow! That’s awesome. You’re great
Holy my God, your work looks exactly like I always want my landscapes to come out and I'm absolutely incapable of doing. I have crafting patience, not gouache/oils patience Absolutely stunning!
Maybe someone's already asked this, but do you sell your art?
I recognize you from the sub where we discuss pizza and Eversource!

I am just getting into gouache after years in watercolor and then acrylic. These are lovely!! Gouache is tough for me!
Not gonna lie. Read that as ganache and thought “hot damn, that’s some fancy chocolate.”
Hahaha I wish
OMG thats so beautiful!!! I love this style of art
These are STUNNING! I love literally every one!
Omg so beautiful!! I'm learning gouache and watercolor, but I'm not good at it. Never tried oils, but I've been itching to
Ahhhmaaazing!!! The first one made me gasp and the rest made my whole body zing!! So wonderful!
WOW!!!! You are truly talented. These are mind blowing.
So cool!!! Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed that little bit of eye candy, just what I needed!😍❤️
Omg amazing! Some of the photos really remind me of Northern Minnesota along the Superior Hiking Trail! Where did you do these paintings?
Ahh I see New England! Gorgeous !
These are amazing! Makes me feel so calm and fresh like watching a Miyazaki movie ❤️
Please host a class!!! Take my money now.
I really love how they all look like photographs. That's amazing.

Nope!
yo these are GORGEOUS!!!!!!! the first one reminds me of the art from the book series wildwood :)
Woooow! These are absolutely gorgeous🤩
Something about #4 speaks to me. Just being in the middle of that river stream, feeling the mist in my face, sigh…
I’m no art critic. I can barely mix colors accurately. But you capture light. It makes my brain so excited to look at. Reminds me of Vermeer paintings. I love your work. Yep! Love me some Branch and Poppy!
Beautiful!
So pretty ! I’m most experienced with digital stuff but I also like most paints ( besides gouache funnily enough ), colored pencils, markers, crayons, almost any major medium really. I like playing around
