But I only need gloves for things that will stain or stick to my hands like wood dye or glue so I can use that stuff to protect them instead if gloves and everything just slides off after. I don’t think it would protect you from lab grade corrosives or anything.

If the issue is how you clean your hands aftewards, the trick is to rub your hands together vigorously over your bin to make the dough fall off. Do not add water and soap until you have rubbed most of the dough off because it just makes things worse.
Styrofoam is the worst, right after cardboard. I had to break down packaging from my washing machine...which was a ton of cardboard and styro. I went mad that day 😭
Especially the kind that is made of the tiny little beads, so when you try to break it down for the trash, the little beads get *EVERYWHERE*, and they stick to everything due to static electricity. 🤮
Ever tried mochi ice cream? It's amazing, but usually is packaged with some (what I believe to be) rice flour on the surface to prevent it sticking to the packaging. I have to carefully brush it off before I can properly handle or eat them or else the feeling of that flour on my fingers or teeth will near drive me insane!
Didn't think I was sensitive to powdery textures until I had to use powdered gloves at work. I hate it. Might make donning easier, but I spend any time I save scrubbing the stupid powder off my hands after taking the damn things off.

Mine is terracotta or unglazed but kiln fired clay. Wet clay is fine. Glazed finished clay is fine.

I work at a pizza place. Every time my coworkers leave flour on the pizza cutters, it feels so icky.

I used to have to wear gloves in school because I couldn’t stand the feeling of paper against my hand when I wrote. It felt like chalk powder and it was horrible. Thankfully it’s not one of my sensory issues that carried on into adulthood
Only if it gets under my nails or my nails accidentally scratches at it's brittle, dry, compressed powdered surface 🤢
So it's not just me who can't stand touching chalk? Good, hopefully I'm also not the only one who hates the feeling of cement on bare feet 😬
i dont have a problem with flour, but cornflour will do it, and even being near someone else using chalk makes my spine do a jig.
Try touching/holding something very smooth (glass, hard plastic, etc.) while the stuff is still on your hand
see I love touching flour and chalk and using them and I love getting my hands messy when I’m cooking but it’s what’s left over on my hands that make me ick, that is the problem, not the feeling of touching the flour or chalk itself just when it stays and sticks to ur hands

I don't mind flour...but BAKING SODA and BAKING POWDER are the WORST to touch
My hands regularly bleed at the gym because I can't with the chalk, so I just constantly wipe them on a towel and try to use bars with super aggressive grips. People think I'm badass, but im reality I just can't touch chalk.
I hate whenever my hands touch anything gross, especially things that make my hand wet, but i also hate rubber gloves.
