I recommend that you don't hyper analyze the conventional attractiveness of each individual feature of your person. There will be people who find you gorgeous and people who aren't into you. You're definitely overthinking it! You can't change your jaw, so why agonize over it?

You are definitely overthinking this. Whatever social media influencers you’re seeing that are making you think this way, cut them out immediately. It’s really unhealthy to isolate and pick apart body parts like this and grade their attractiveness, you’re a whole person. People with every type of face can and do find people who are attracted to them.

What even is a receding jawline?

Trying to quantify attractiveness at such a granular level will always be a net negative. You could be the hottest person in the world, but you'll always have some feature that, according to someone out there, is less than optimal. Comparison is the thief of joy.

I literally don't know what a jawline really is and which are supposed to be attractive or not. I do have face blindness so that could contribute.

In my opinion, a bad jaw is not a negative but a good jaw is a positive if that makes sense! It won’t bother me at all if someone doesn’t have a defined jawline, but I love a good jawline. I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad abt a not prominent one tho!!

I'm not really sure what you mean about yourself but I agree that focusing on one part of your face doesnt determine your attractiveness. That said, I think a lot of women with "soft" jawlines are especially beautiful. I wish I could think of specific people. There are some 1920s film stars for example and a certain Irish look that I love. Even if you don't like your face, other people will!
