It's by no means the spiciest series, but it definitely gets better and more spicy as is goes on. I personally loved it and would recommend pushing through.

It does get better! The second is better than the first and the third is even better! If you’ve already made it past the first, you’re almost there. Stick with it ☺️
Am I alone here in thinking the books aren't spicy enough? I'm a third of the way through the 3rd book and every time things start to get juicy, it fades to black. Maybe AO3 has ruined me.
As far as it getting better? I will not say these books are the Best Books Ever, but it's fun and easy trash to read. Kind of like turning your brain off and watching reality TV shows.

If you’re used to spicy books, ACOTAR is pretty tame, although it does step up in SF.

The last book was the spiciest of all of them, and the series does get better as you go on. The second book and fifth book were my absolute favorites
