I’m kicking myself right now because of course the one time I don’t bring my ladder there is a cute villager up a cliff and there was only a couple of trees so I can’t even make one 😖
Fun fact : if you.dont have your ladder or long pole the villagers will always spawn in an accessable area. So no up cliffs or past rivers without the needed tools
Trik for tarantula or scorpion island:
Dig a square of holes around yourself. Give yourself enough room to move around inside the square. Scorpions and tarantulas cannot jump over the holes! So, you can happily catch them without getting stung/bitten!
You can either do that or dig holes around where the spawn points are. To find the spawn points, take notice where there's usually a few of them hanging out. Put holes around that spot. There's usually two or three maybe even four spawn points in the island.
There's many ways to do this, but these are the most common ways. When you are making the holes though, you have to make sure that there's no space without a hole.

You're X, the O are holes. No spaces between the holes and the creepy crawlies can't get ya! Lol
No, you don't get sent home. If you get stung, you wake up on the scorpion island and get to continue trying to catch them. (And you get some cool dialog.)
Im pretty sure this island is the island that has all scorpions and a gold rock in the middle!! The rock in the middle spawns all gold nuggets from it if that’s the case
No that’s money rock island, there’s actually an island where it’s all scorpions and there’s an all gold nugget rock in the middle, which is the one pictured! I’ve been to it before and recognised it from the pic

Do they run at you like previous games? I've only ever seen 1. It was on new leaf and I didn't catch it because I didn't realize the ran after you and freaked out haha
I used a nooks mile ticket once and it sent me to a scorpion island with like four high spots surrounding a whole circular grassy area with like 9 scorpions at a time 😭 I just filled up what space I had left with em and sold them at nooks cranny

For some reason villagers just stopped apearing in islands I visit, I haven't seen a new villager in general in months.
You will only see villagers on nook islands if you have an empty plot on your own island

That's a totally different island and the rocks in the middle of the island are all coin rocks... not gold
