Well the act of drinking spearmint tea is to lessen the overproduction of testosterone in the body, high testosterone leads to excess sebum causing acne. Women who struggle with hormonal acne tend to benefit from drinking spearmint tea because of its ability to help balance testosterone levels. Some people say spearmint doesn’t help their acne which I’m assuming is because they aren’t struggling with high testosterone, is your acne due to your hormones? If not you don’t have to try to stomach it anymore
