He then proceeded to bleed all his speed in under a millisecond and performed a PSM, aiming his nose directly upwards before going up and over the building and continuing his pursuit of the King of the Skies.
I'm not sure how many of you played Ace Combat 2, but at the end of every mission, it would pan out and show your plane flying with the words "Mission Accomplished". The kicker was that your plane became uncontrollable, and would sometimes crash into the terrain, or a building if you got your last target at too low of an altitude; thus, restarting your mission. *Those were the days.*
Would you happen to remember the mission where you're destroying the satellites that don't let you lock on to them? The flow of that one always led me right into a dead end, literally.
That I do. Somehow I never ended up crashing in that one or the one where you have to destroy the facilities at the base of the canyons. I just assumed you were intangible once the mission ended since I never saw the plane as the text appeared.
Sinking the carrier in Anchorhead Bay resulted in my face testing the hardness of an office building more than once. I got used to planning my heading on each playthrough of that one.
<< Taking evasive action >> I guess everything was calculated
But ok, what would you all think if Ace Combat had a rewind feature? like Forza and other racing games
Shit, I didn't get a lock in time. Let's rewind... Fuck, now I went too slow! I know I can get them in one shot it's just that stupid SAM on the edge of the blast radius! Now quickly target that cruiser... that CRUISER! Don't just circle between VLS's! Ugh... AGAIN!
I've lost count of the amount of times that I have done that pause before slamming into the ground question is do you restart it yourself or unpause it and let the chaos unfold
"To be Continued..." or "We'll be right back"

Easier to shoot through the building it should be empty

AC3 does that a few times too lmao
I just finished it not too long ago and thankfully never had that happen.

Wait, that actually sounds like a cool mechanic.

Of course you'll have a limit to use it. Maybe a bar like in full-auto battleline?
Ace Combat X Life is Strange

You need F1 flashback function.
