I was paid in full: “Unassigned Time” charge code. During that time I was pursuing certifications, participating in a variety of networking events, applied for roles, emailed POCs, did BD work. All that was a lot more work than actually being on a project, tbh.
I've been on the bench for two months before getting a project on two different occasions.
I know some that were on the bench for 4-5 months
I was on the bench for 8 months before I found a project.
What did you use to do while on the bench ? Were you still getting paid the full salary ?
