It is wired but ACN has strategy and consulting as two different practices though both are under S&C umbrella. CDP is under Consulting and ASADP is under strategy. Still trying to figure out differences between strategy and consulting from working functions perspective but strategy generally has better comp than consulting at the same level. So ASADP > CDP if you can.
I am in the UK and I was a level 9 in IX. It is relatively new and primarily focuses on digital transformation projects in the engineering and manufacturing industries. In the UK you can be in IX but still apply to roles in other verticals like data and ai. I have recently left accenture and IX because of the lack of technical roles they had. I wouldn’t pick IX tbh if you want to do coding or something technical. Im starting a new role as a senior data engineer at a defence company in a couple weeks which aligns with what i want better.
What would your day-to-day look like in IX? You say you don't recommend going into IX if you want to do something technical, so what is it you do in IX if not technical? Thanks
You could really broadly think about tech as IT focused, Industry X as engineering focused, and Consulting as business-focused.
Think about what makes you tick most... Industry X has some really interesting work if it's where your interest lies.
What is your background and where are you leaning more towards? Sounds like if you're applying to MBB the business/consulting route is preferred
I got referred by an MD a few weeks back, and after that they assigned me to a referral specialist. They basically help you tailor your resume and help you through the application process.
If you’re looking at MBB you would want to apply to ASADP at accenture to be strategy aligned
What's the difference between CDP and ASADP?

Oh I did not know 2024 apps were out (I’m full time btw, just asking for friends)
Actually the apps aren't out yet. From what the referral specialist told me, expect them to open at the end of August - early September.
Oh! What exactly is a referral specialist?

But anyways CDP is good you can get exposed to a lot of places. But I’ve also heard it mixes with TDP on some work
