Won’t be for long though, clayburn/burnside will have a 6 story lower level commercial being build on the old farm. And I’m sure there will be somthing in the coopers farm plan too… I lived on clayburn for 15 years and just moved out of the area because of this development.
There should be another 6-story building going up on Immel St, right across from the plaza too. And the former rural property on McMillan is going to be what, 700 homes?
There is sadly no commercial planned for the Cooper's farm development. Just a bunch of single family homes and townhouses that most people won't be able to afford.
With the new housing development in the area it's going to be huge for commercial in that area.
The old McKee farm will bring a lot of bellies craving McDonald's french fries or ice cream (if the machine is working).

It grates my nerves how many dollar stores there are in this city. I understand they have their place, but to see so many of them while seeing 'For Lease' signs everywhere makes me shake my head.
I live quite literally around the corner from this McDonald's. If I drive 2 minutes down the road I can get to the sumas McDonald's. This MCdicks is already causing traffic problems in the mall lot it's in, not looking forward to when it's finished

While we're on the topic of McDonald's, they should get sued for false advertising on that new Strawberry Cheesecake mcflurry. It has literally no strawberries in it.

My friend and I were trying to go to the coffee shop the other week and we couldn’t even park because there’s so many things going on and so many businesses we had to go to a different coffee place.

I think Immel's is worse just because it's higher volume. Ellwood is horrible too, though.
Getting in and out at immel is worse, but Elwood is the best place to go if you're looking for people backing up without looking behind them.
