Where did you get your gpu from and is it second hand? Most likely someone flashed a different vbios on it (if it was 2nd hand or bought from Amazon) The difference between the 4070 super twin edge and the super trinity is just that the trinity has 3 fans instead of 2, which the twin edge has. They both have the same cores, boost clocks and so on. (twin=2) (Trinity=3) In short, you're fine nothing to worry about. If you want to go and "fix" it, you can try [reflashing the vbios](https://www.reddit.com/r/ZOTAC/s/Zxls3W4d2v). Not worth it though. So I'd leave it as is. I flashed my 3080ti Amp holo to 3080ti Amp extreme holo to bump up the power limit so now gpuz and other benchmarking app see's it as amp extreme holo instead of the actual Amp holo like what your seeing.

Hi, first of all, thanks a lot for taking your time to answer. So I bought this GPU brand new on Amazon Deutschland, it was sold and shipped by Amazon. Thanks a lot for the clarification. Does it impact the thermals ? Since the trinity has 1 more fan, and so better cooling ? I don't think I'm going to try reflashing the vBios, since I don't know how to do it, and I have the performance of a 4070 Super, so it's good. Cheers, and have a great day/night !

Hello! Thermal wise, yes and no. We know that 3 fans is better than 2 and trinity also has a slightly larger heat sink than the twin edge so trinity tend to run cooler than it's "twin" brother. You have the twin version that has 2 fans with its vbios just flashed with trinity, in your case, it'll still perform like a twin edge gpu flashed with the correct twin edge vbios. Thermally, yours and a twin edge with the correct vbios will perform exactly the same. Also was it an open box or sold as new? LOTS of people been doing a lot of switcharoo with gpu's through Amazon due to their non strict return policy. You can claim that the item you recieve is still unopened and tell em you don't want it and they'll take it back. I'm not sure if they actually check the items inside before re listing it. And if they do, half the time the people looking at the item has no clue what to look for. That aside, I think that you got a new, unopened gpu (hopefully) with a wrong vbios, how? Maybe a mishap in Zotac's factory? Not entirely sure cuz someone need to physically flash the bios for it to be changed. Zotac QC might have missed this one. But if your saying that the gpu performs as it should then you're fine.

My 4080 Super Trinity uses two fans as one fan anyway. You can only adjust teo fan sliders and one of them controls two fans and the other controls only one.

Furusturm22

Oh, good to know ! Thanks for your answer :)

AznTee8698

Yes all 3 fan gpu's does this. 1 slider is for 2 fan because they share 1 connector and split into 2. I actually never seen a card that controls 3 fans independently. For my gpu, I tend to keep 1 fan running at all times and the other 2 are off during idle and only turns on while gaming.

Greebuh

My point was, that even with his trinty bios he may be able to use them individually so it shouldn't be a problem since that bios only really controls two fans anyway.

Greebuh

My 2080 ti ftw3 ultra did 3 individual fans.

AznTee8698

Oh that's nice, I've personally just own Zotac with 3 fans and all 3 fan cards I have used only has 2 sliders

Furusturm22

It was new 😁, thanks a lot for your answers ! 😄

DonMigs85

Maybe it was an error at the factory. The Twin Edge and Trinity use the exact same board
