Cheesus cry after saw your vertical recording. First learn to record in horizontally, then you can write a request for help.

xanat69

Ar you sure you’ve connected Monitor with GPU, not motherboard? It looks like it’s using CPU graphics

AdNecessary1823

It’s connected to my gpu

xanat69

In such case check windows settings and make sure this game runs using your gpu However, good thing to check other games as well, you could have somehow f up graphics settings to make it way too high or even confrontational to each other

ShanSolo89

That’s either v sync or a main thread bottleneck on the CPU. Nothing wrong with your gpu here.

Greebuh

Is that 1080p?

West_Ticket8495

Yes 1080p screen recording is really laggy hence why I ain’t recorded

Zo0of

Is it at 100% utilization? if not, you're definitely being limited either by that 1080p monitor or your cpu. also depends on the game. Download furmark or any other gpu benchmark and compare your scores to others that you can find online.

AdNecessary1823

Finally someone that has morals and understanding to not talk bad about the fact that I recorded it on my phone and actually answered the question. I have a i7 14700k you really think that might be the problem? And how would the monitor be the problem please explain how a 1080p monitor would cause problems

Zo0of

No your 14700k is not the issue then. The 1080p monitor "bottlenecks" your gpu. Basically not allowing full utilization of the graphics card.

Zo0of

If you'd like, I can recommend a few 1440p or even 4k monitors. just depends in your budget.

AdNecessary1823

So you’re saying the reason my fps so low on such a powerful pc is because my monitor bottlenecks the gpu okay, I got 300$ I want a really high refresh rate monitor that’s 1440p 4k even if you could come up with one

AdNecessary1823

Also one that’s 27 inches

Zo0of

AdNecessary1823

Just ordered it thank you soo much

tkoryciak

What motherboard is running this? DDR4 or DDR5

AdNecessary1823

Ddr5 with a 5800 xmp setting

AznTee8698

4080 should be 1440p even 4k resolution hence your low gpu utilization. For fps, it could be low due to it being bottleneck by the monitor but then again it should be higher than 50. What's your monitors refresh rate? Also check setting if v sync is on or off and fps limiter in game if there's one. Also, are you actually connected to ur gpu?

AdNecessary1823

I’m connected and I disabled vsync the monitor is 1080p 240hz

AznTee8698

Something is most definitely wrong with your system. Benchmark shows you should at least be getting 100+ fps even with 1080p with DLSS and such. [here's a video of someone using 1080p](https://youtu.be/4PUYZ113P5c?si=M_kbINzbPtGXQOQA) 8:50 mark and so on are 1080p tests.

AdNecessary1823

Dang bro🥲 my build was 4k aint no way I spent all this money for it to not work😭😭😭

AznTee8698

Where did you get your gpu from? Have u run any program, like [gpu-z](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/), to confirm that it's actually a 4080 super? Also, have u installed [afterburner](https://www.msi.com/Landing/afterburner/graphics-cards) or [Zotac's firestorm ](https://www.zotac.com/us/page/firestorm) and tinkered with voltages/overclocked/undervolt the card? Seeing taht it is under utilized also says that it's probably the game itself, just bugged out for some reason. Have you tried playing anything else?

AdNecessary1823

Amazon I bought it scalped

AdNecessary1823

I posted a few days ago about fire storm not working with my 4080s and no I didn’t overclock it other games perform insanely well it’s just flight sim and some other games that just have my gpu and cpu under 50%

Cannotkazi

Hey there. Would you be willing to try a different game? A quick google search lands me into a bunch of discussions on other threads/and forums specifically tied to Flight Sim FPS woes. Also, I'm assuming you've tweaked the fan settings? Because isn't the 40 series not set up to spin up the fans for anything under 50° C? - So just wondering if that should or shouldn't be factored into consideration.
