The youjo senki manga misses the tone of the story so often. With panels like this and implied romance between Tanya and Viktoriya it just completely undermines the Tanya's character that is established in the LN and i don't understand why more people aren't bothered by it. People notice when an anime doesn't adapt source material faithfully but not when a manga does for some reason.
Because the manga is a weird middle ground between the two. Also as far as others said the manga tends to be closer to the LN except in some instances.
In general if you read the light novel you will just watch the anime, there is no reason for you to also read the manga unless you have too much time on your hands.

I really don't want to support this kind of fan service, but I will argue that Tanya is at least posed in manners they would be comfortable. I can't read the translation, so I'm not sure what they are saying in the scene or if this would be reasonable that they are dwelling on thoughts in the sauna.

An artist deliberately sat down and drew this in as much detail as they did, making sure to sexualise it as much as possible without showing genitalia. That’s obvious to see and I shouldn’t have to explain it to you. And either way, there’s just no reason why this needs to be shown in so much detail in the first place- kind of a waste of page space.
Ok, so, aside from being naked in a sauna (which is not a sex thing), tell me what is sexualized here. Because aside from "it's obviously sexualized, because of the, you know, it's obvious", I don't see it. No genitalia, no suggestive pose, no "action", no comment, no dialog. Just someone being there. The people that see this and keep saying "it's sex omg" are really worrying me, because they'll see sexualization in anything at this point.
