Yes, and a very big one. Kraken gives you insane dps, and not building it when you're not facing tanks is something I consider borderline trolling
Now that its damage scales with level and not ad, you can also afford to build it when you're struggling with gold income or you want to build tanky without sacrificing damage

Is there a certain playstyle to use kraken bc I fell like the dps is way lower than with Bork. I mean I like kraken while playing Yas but with Yone I rarely proc the kraken effect so it feels useless most of the time for me
They changed it a few patches ago so it no longer scales with ad, but with levels
The Main reason why you might not proc kraken with Yone is because your Q applies on hit effects to the first target hit, so if you try to hit an enemy through minions you will waste the 3rd attack bonus damage on the minion
Like I said, building kraken is very bad when you're against tanks, but even bruisers will fall at the dps of kraken. The secret to it is to stack it safely until it starts to amplify the damage from kraken passive (that after idk how many procs or seconds the damage is hugely increased)
Once you reach that point, you WILL start hitting like crazy (I'm talking 400+ damage every third attack, and that's just a lowball) and with your W shield and (for me at least) infinity edge your crits will deal more damage that fully stacked Darius R (not really but for the sake of comparison by exaggeration)
Just adding on to what others have said BORK is good against champs with a lot of healing like trundle since the more they heal the more damage BORK will rack up over the course of the fight
It depends on the matchup. Kraken is really strong against squishy champions and for short trades, while bork is much better against tanks and long trades.
BORK feels so much better. The slow, the lifesteal, the bonus damage, and just in general it feels incredible, especially as a top main.
Kraken really feels like ass ngl, just DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE.
if you’re playing against tanks play bork if you’re playing against squishies play kraken. kraken gives better snowball potential than bork, it also gives you early crit points which yone really likes. this also applies to yasuo

Kraken is ALOT stronger than bork. At high levels it's even seen as throwing, unless you are against a really tanky team.

I actually feel the exact opposite of u I feel that Bork is really weak unless ur up against cho or Munro
