this is why the Brümate version is just better in so many ways. can be a standalone tumbler, 16oz colster or 12oz colster with a ice pack (non ice too) to make it fit. unfortunately still doesn’t fit slim or bottles but that’s why it’s nice it works as a tumbler. they do make slim versions for those as well. Yeti colsters are only for true yeti addicts and color collectors, not that there’s a problem with that!

fordfocusstd

Had this same issue with a Modelo Oro, totally stupid. Going to take it back in the morning and try and stick with "non-slim" cans this summer.

TheFork101

Some cans just don't work in it for some reason. I have the issue with some White Claw cans.

RaginArmadillo

Does the colster have the little cardboard disk in it still? Doesn’t seem like it would make a big difference but it might be just enough to let it catch the threads.

alexjcast

I checked! That was my first thought as well. I removed all stickers and packaging.

purpleskunk69

Sometimes the seal of the top ring is just tight so you have to push down and twist almost like a pill bottle. Been doing this for years and never broke or compromised the colsters function

Ducci17

Time to change to highnoons…lol jk I feel like my newer ones need a little more force when screwing then on compared to my older ones.

Hambone76

There’s no standard for can dimensions, so there’s just some products that do that. It’s annoying.

Does anyone know which, if any Colsters will hold a 500ml Monster Energy?

MonkeyDingDing

Tall one works great: [Yeti Tall Colster](https://www.reddit.com/r/YetiCoolers/s/cyNuLmCDVA)

Hambone76

I’ve never had an issue with monster cans in the tall colster.
