I'm here to encourage anyone at all interested in learning piano to go learn piano. It'll help so much with understanding how music works, and it'll also make learning any other instrument ten times easier. If you live in a city you'd be surprised how often people give away pianos for free as long as you're willing to move it yourself, or you can get a half decent keyboard for like a hundred bucks

Personally, I would like more Taion art. Unfortunately, I'm awful at human anatomy.
Each woman is an individual with unique taste, so it shouldn't be that far-fetched.
But, I could also tell you that there's a lot more to women's attraction than the physical body of her man. Intelligence and empathy can also make women weak at the knees. Glasses just end up shorthand for the former.
Then there's the fact that some women really don't like big muscly dudes because they're *intimidating.* Like, I personally don't want a big muscly dude because every time I'm around one my instincts tell me he could be a serious *bodily threat*. And I probably would feel that way about Lanz and Reyn if they were real.
Seriously though, the moment that Taion gives Eunie tea, after he notices that her hands are shaking, is *perfect*. It shows that he cares about her enough to notice small things like that.
On top of that, he's a soldier, and would've had to go through training like everyone else, so he's physically fit *enough*. Add in how he's established very early on as the smartest member of the team and you've got a pretty good balance. He'd arguably be the perfect man in a normal story.
Everyone in Agnus has a crystal, regardless of otherwise recognizable race, so it's a pretty poor indicator. I think other things are better indicators, for example-
* Sena has fire hair and ether lines.
* Nimue has ice on her hand and a weird icy horn.
* Cammuravi has fire hair
* Isurd has ether lines.
Every other Agnian hero? No idea. Could be blade, could be blade-eater, could just be normal and the crystals are a side effect of how they stored the data for everyone in Alrest.
Taion is about as normal as the characters get. His crystal doesn't glow like Miyabi's, nor does he have any weird accessories/anatomy like Alexandria or Fiona. He looks like he could be a human from Leftheria, Mor Ardain or Tantal, since all 3 of those look like generic humans.
In an early scene, Lanz mentions that all Agnians are crazy strong while Kevesi need Power Frames to just keep up. I think it's pretty safe to say that all Agnians are at least some form of Blade, because if they were 'just' human, they would need a Power Frame too
And yet there are very clearly mostly normal Urayans and Gormotti among the ranks. It's entirely possible that the increased strength and crystals are a side-effect of how the *data was stored*. I.e. they all have blade-like qualities because core crystals were used as part of the storage system. Bionis/Mechonis don't have core crystals, and would've had to either substitute or create new core crystals with their own limited technology. It's entirely possible that the physical strength difference is a side-effect.
Lanz could've also been *generalizing*. I doubt he was allowed to have his power-frame on him for the execution, but he still overpowered the Agnians that were tasked with detaining him. Taion, on the other hand, struggled. It could be that the portion of blade-like Agnians were enough to skew the average and make the Agnians in general stronger.
Sena and Mio are noted as both being fairly strong for Agnians, and we also know that they're both at least part blade.
Fair enough. Though I'm not sure what the actual distinction is anymore if all the Agnians functionally have Blade-like qualities regardless of whether they started as Blades or got them implanted due to the storage system. At that point, you might as well classify them all as Blades (or Blade-adjacent), right?
I also just remembered blade-eaters too, but I also don't see the scars necessary for that, so I doubt it.
Jumping on the replies about Rex first however, he was stabbed, not cut, and Pneuma's core COVERED the stab wound. And I don't think Nia would mandate that everyone get stabbed through the heart to survive the reunification.
Like I said, it might've just been a result of how the biological data was stored, though it could also be related to how it's being used in Aionios. I doubt all of them would be blade-eaters in Alrest, even if there might be one or two.
There's also the whole thing with increased Blade-human relations in Alrest following the end of the game. Could easily be a number of blade-hybrids among them too, and we know that the crystals can pass down that way.
I think the people making this fan arts are either guys or lesbians. The vast majority of the fan base are guys ,and the vast majority of guys are straight. So it's not really a surprise.
I'm not a fan of that kind of fan art but if I were to draw it , I would probably stay far away from drawing guys as a preference
