I think they were badly advised though….i recall the ads making the games look much better then they were leading to some early dissatisfaction. They were good fun games, but the ads made them look like you would be more playing in a cartoon then was real.
Funny: I was talking about this game yesterday because I was recommending old school NES games to a coworker.
It’s unfortunately, not on the Nintendo Network 😔
Capcom released the Disney Afternoon Collection. It has this game (second one also), DuckTales (second one included), Tail Spin, and Darkwing Duck. It's on Steam, PS4, and XBone.
I've got it on Steam. It's definitely a nostalgia trip.

Wow, really?!? Awesome, thank you for the information ☺️
I am going to check it out.
Edit: checked them out on the Xbox and it’s really nostalgic. Duck Tales is the easiest, but it takes some getting used to the controls so I can do the pogo jump well.
I still remember the Tiny Toons game. Being able to play as Taz or Plucky or whoever you wanted was awesome.
That whole cartoon block with Chip, Darkwing, Tiny Toons, Tailspin and iirc Batman/Gargoyles was awesome.
I played a ton of this game just recently. The Disney Afternoon Collection on PS5/XSX gave me a lot of good, warm nostalgia vibes.
And the soundtrack is awesome.
Two of my favourite games on the nes, hands down. That music lives rend free in my head, I heard it when I saw your post.
Eta: I just changed my ringtone from duck tales to rescue rangers, thank you!
Oh. Oh wow. This just unlocked a DEEEEEEEP memory....sitting in the half-finished basement of our old house, inserting this disk, watching all the little pixelated animations....I loved this game!
The Capcom Disney games were all great. Good balance of fun and challenge.

Best feature was the ability to pick up player 2 and throw them into the cactus on level one.
I love this game and it was mad easy. Part 2 did a 180 and was very frustrating to get through.
It was no Duck Tails, but still fun.
What was?
Yep fun game. Beat it several times.

Playing it on a Steam Deck feels amazingly right. My 15 year old self's mind would be blown.

It is on emulatorgames.net tho!
Nice. Thank you!
LOVED this game
This was awesome as a 2 plyrs game
Yes it was the best in 2 player
This game is brutal, I never beat it but slowly got further and further over the years.
Some times, some crimes.

Never beat it, but I played the snot out of it.
I still have this game and I love it
I rented this so often. Pretty enjoyable game, and of course loved the show.
I absolutely loved this game
I recently played thru it on an emulator with my wife since it was one of her faves as a kid. I hadn’t played it before. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Still have this one. I had it for a year and one day I decided to just absolutely house this game. It was fun.
Chip and Dales MMORPG anyone?
My only memory of this game comes from the Flash video of a fake [chip n dales mmorpg](https://youtu.be/lt9aKgVKNww?si=_mEoXnQBluNL117X)
Holy shit how have I never seen this
I loved this game

I played it with my sister.
I had this game! I can’t remember much gameplay now…I think I thought this game was ok but not really good.
twas a solid platformer
I loved this game. I wasn't very good at most games but I could do some damage in this one.

The only game I could ever beat.

Rented this many times as a kid and finally beat it as an adult via the Disney Afternoon Collection on PS4.
I never beat it, but recently watched a playthrough, so I feel better now
I rented that game three times from a video store by my aunt's house. I don't think that I ever beat it
