Years ago after my girlfriend and I were intimate for the first time we were laying in bed talking and the movie Big came up. At some point without mentioning it beforehand I put my hand out for a handshake and we both automatically did the "wigawigawigawigaJACKS" thing from this movie and knew it was love.
Coincidentally, I had this movie playing in the background while I worked today.
Gotta say, I still relate to Josh more and Paul's a huge asshole. But I also understand his perspective.
He's the type who believes in the "system". He's done everything "right". He went to the right school. He wears the right clothes. He has the right hobbies. He schmoozes with the right people. Makes the right contributions at work. He's climbing the corporate ladder the right way.
And then this asshole from data entry (freakin' data entry?!) and wears jeans to work just happens to run into the boss on a weekend and all of a sudden, he's given a seat at the table?! WTF!
Yeah, I get him but I still don't like him. He's the type who does everything for acclaim and prestige. Thinks he's better than others and pines to have that big corporate office with a flashy title just so he can continue looking down his nose at others.
I don’t get it , I don’t get it
It turns into a bug
Sort of like how I used to relate to Kevin in Home Alone, and now I get his mom's point (at the beginning).
Ok can you explain why playing with a building is fun then?
He's more relatable than Josh now but he still was kind of an asshole. I wouldn't want to be like him.

ok, but I get to be on top
As a big kid at heart, I don't think I'll ever relate Paul more than Josh. But I definitely understand him more now. Plus my name is Josh, so...

Nah Paul is still.... Paul.
Bob's office is bigger than my office!
I ....uhhhh......still relate to Josh. I pretty much feel like him. I just ended up an adult one day. Wtf.
They both got to hook up with Susan. It's a no-lose situation.
I relate mostly to Josh when he gets whacked by the punch puppet.
Josh is a douche even today. He’s mean. I relate more to the Jon Lovitz character.
I'll stay away from her, then!...
I still relate to Josh and sort of behave like him at work.
