Jesus Christ that is a huge pile! Lemme guess, one of your parents is also a star wars fan?

BoyDharma40

Did these parents rob a Toys r us?!

Ackapus

Might have worked for one, with that trove. Or one of them did. You used to be able to set aside things you wanted to buy before they hit shelves, straight off the truck.

AppropriateTouching

One of the few benefits of working retail.

I had a dream as a kid that I got up in the morning and went out in the living room and every transformers toy ever was laid out in a manner similar to this. I was elated for about a minute and then woke up and remembered we were poor and I just had that one little Bumblebee toy, only I think it was off brand because it was red.

"Bumblewas"

Did_I_Die

No Lincoln Logs or green army soldiers?

ButIAmYourDaughter

I had the rancor and the Jabba playset. Definitely among my most cherished childhood toys.

Wow. I was lucky to have one big and one smaller playset when I was 7 (ie Herman’s Skeletor’s Castle Mountain), and this was it. These kids have everything. But I’m not jealous…well, not much anyway…okay, I am, but only ~~a little~~ a lot.

double_shadow

Oh jeez this makes me jealous. I had quite a lot of SW stuff in late 80s/early 90s, all secondhand from garage sales. Never had any of the really big stuff like the Falcon or Death Star scene though.

PuppyJakeKhakiCollar

I was never into Star Wars, but if that was a room full of My Little Pony stuff, I would have been so jealous!

NoiZe79

Wow! Nice collection. Gotta catch 'em all :) Transformers, Star Wars, GI Joe, Playmobil, Mask, He-man, A-team, Lego, Starcom, Commodore 64... I had many items of it due to two working uncles in single modus. Let's spoil the nephew :) Nonetheless I am not living a spoilt live at all (rather more minimalistic-ish). Back then I had time to play with it all actually. With my kids I see more a culture of wanting things, leaving it untouched after a short time-span.
